This is a big problem in greatsword!

Guard Point is an amazing passive, it works great in small scale pvp.

However, when we go to medium and large scale pvp, it becomes a nightmare!

I’m testing the Greatsword with different weapon combinations, but always focusing on its right skills, as I found it very fun and with incredible sustain.

And the results I find are always the same, in 1v1 amazing, in group pvp, horrible.

It seems that the right laod’s charged attack was not made for medium and large scale pvp, as in addition to being slow, you simply run out of stamina WITH EVERY latched hit you try to deliver.

The solution was to spam light attack with a refreshing greatsword to use more skills, but still, it’s pretty bad.

Perhaps a solution would be to increase the effect window of this passive.

Making it cover the entire animation of the charged attack. Although this still probably won’t resolve the situation in a war, it might help in medium scale pvp.

I think this needs to be reviewed.

This might be OP in 1vx. They should simply move Guard Point to the Faultless Defender passive, or any other passive, so people can choose if they want the skill or not

Really would be an option, but what other passive would you put in place?

I can’t say for sure. They could merge Guard Point and Guarded Shift into one passive granting the same bonuses as they do now.

Oh, you mean the third passive on Path of Defiance. They could switch the bonuses from a Guarded Shift and Guard point. I think it would make more sense.
