It’s posted ALLLL over that we can move to a new low pop world and make a character there but that is a lie. We can NOT even change worlds the worlds “list” has been uninteractive since the games launch.
And no I’m not talking about a transfer I cannot even open a different world than the one I originally clicked on to make a fresh character.
I don’t want to transfer I’m locked into to one world and cannot start fresh from any other world.
The world I originally picked has had queues in the thousands every time I’ve tried to log in so I don’t want anything to do with it - I want to leave like I never clicked it and go start somewhere else but I can’t.
You have two character slots in your region. Are they both used?!
Delete one of them, and you can go start on any server in that region.

They have said that in the coming weeks they will begin allowing server transfers, I don’t think that it is an option yet. So what I did in the mean time was make a new character on a low pop server then I can either move them to the more full server in a few weeks when hopefully they have found a way to fix the queue issue. Or I can move my character in the high pop server to the lower pop one.
As far as not being able to view the list of servers I am not sure what that issue is because I have no problem seeing the server list. So maybe it is a separate bug
I do not have 2 characters, I still cannot change worlds I’m locked into one world.
I’m not looking to move a character I can’t get a character in on this world. I’m trying to leave this world altogether go to a low pop one and start fresh but I am not able to leave the world I selected on launch day in any way shape or form.
What I want to do is exactly what you did but I cannot change my server they have no option to interact or select I can only look at the list.
have you tried hiting create new character and then selecting a world from there? thats what i did to move from servers. possibly delete your old one as well than try?
I have not tried clicking the new character first I’ve been trying to change my world so I could then create the character there so I will try this.
Then my advice is even simpler. Create a new character and just go to a quieter server.
If you want the name of the character you already have, you will need to delete and remake it.
yeah try hitting create new first than it opens up world select. Hopefully this helps
