This lie that 90% dropped the game

Did you think that thru?

Between October 1st, and November 1st, the game lost 600k in player peak. That is a 2/3 loss.

(And before anyone jumps to state that peak players isn’t the real amount of player… yeah. It doesn’t matter. Peak players is anyway a measurement that is proportional to real players. We don’t know what value real players is, but we know peak players, and that they are proportional. So a 2/3 loss on peak players means a 2/3 loss on real players)

So if you are implying that the 600k player loss over the first month were people just logging in to register their name…
I don’t know what to tell you…

It’s not easy to find a name that no one is using

well yeah man lets face it the argument that its 60k x 24h or 20h lol the peps that remains are the hardcore that play a lot. (theres some that maybe i say maybe log out after 1h but lets assume lol peps are playing more than 1h before quit. So if you have 50% of the number is moving each hours you dont have healthy player base. Pretty sure you donc get more than 200-300k of different people in a day. The peps that are here in the morning can be the same that log back few hours too. We see ghost town and ghost open world so it is empty

While I absolutely love the game, you can just check Steam achievements to see the percentage of ppl who left. Like reaching lvl 60, winning OPR and so on.

one thread wasnt enought attention?

Yeah and it was due to massive queues. This was bound to happen. This game is not made for this much crowd so it is good that the player count fell down. People could actually start playing the damn game. And right now? Just merge serves until healthy pop is achieved so they will naturally live with mass PvP and OPR

Fail troll school?

Seriously, these topics should be merged into one thread.

90% of players are casuals and play less than 1 hour per day.

They do not appear in peak hours.

How hard is that to understand?

Eh, I don’t mind if 90% fell off. I expect it to hit 30k-40k when Lost Ark comes out, then the gradual increase when they discover it’s another Grind Fest, but with the pay to win/convenience (as in paying money will save you a couple months playtime when working towards goals) aspect of Korean games.

Looking forward to the map expansion. Hope they manage to fix war lag, increase the map size, and increase the player cap. Woulld be nice to have about 150% larger map size, with a 4k player cap server and an average of 2k-3k players a server.

I see you never made it past 2nd grade math class. Yes darling 90% of the player base since the launch of this game have ceased to play. Go drool someplace else now.

So everyone should not be taken seriously beside you

Thank you for your TED talk.

How do you know exactly when anyone that is not within your line of sight is or is not playing? Please clearly explain.

what are the lies they told?

Look. I can also make up a tortured scenario to justify whatever theory:

All casual players have agreed thru Tor to not log in at peak times. So at peak time only 60k players log in. After that, and always watchful that they never add up over 60k, the casual players log in every hour, amounting to 23 (hours that aren’t peak) x 59 000 (just under peak player count) = 1 357 000 casual players not playing during peak time every day!

Unfortunately, reality isn’t like that. Player count resembles that wavy shape you can see in the charts, because casual players log in based on daily job and school schedules. What is called prime time and valley time.
Evenings after work/school and dinner is when most people have some free time to do whatever (not just play New World). So peak times matches prime time.

Even when the total amount of players isn’t the same as the “peak players” curve, it is proportional. That means, its own curve resembles the “Peak players” curve.

So, even if we don’t know the real number, we don’t really care.
What we care about is how it grows or shrinks compared to our own server population.
A server that by October 1st had 2000 players playing simultaneously after dinner time, by November 1st had only 650 players playing at that same time.
If you usually play after dinner time, you don’t really care whether lots of players played in the morning or in the middle of the night.

That’s why we don’t care about the total amount of players. We care about the growth or shrinking of the population, because those do apply directly to the amount of players who are online when each of us usually play.

Streamers are the bane of gaming. They hype a game, then bash it when folk realize it doesn’t meet expectations. How on earth we have sunk so low is beyond me…but hey…to each their own I suppose.

Aside from that…it’s obvious the population has shrunk. To what effect, who the fuck knows. My server is still healthy. My original server wasn’t. As long as AGS can scale up or down…all of this doesn’t matter. Of course people just like to jump on whatever bandwagon the trolls fling daily…if it’s not population it’s bots. If it’s not bots its de-synch. If it’s not de-synch it’s aimbot. If it’s not aimbots it big companies. If it’s not big companies it’s . Let’s not forget dupers. And the list goes on and on and on…it will never, ever end.

There are people STILL here who claimed to have ‘quit’ months ago. I dunno, if I stop using a product I don’t hang out trolling others who do. I suppose whatever stiffens your pencil is up to you. But my god, this game has overtaken 76 in the troll department. Odd, remember when 76 was going to ‘die’. Funny, still running…

Game isn’t perfect. Game needs work. This post really isn’t going to change any opinions nor does it really bring any insight to New World.

News at 11.

There is multiple openly available graphs and other stat sites that shows the total numbers of players of all steam games and how many percentage they lose or gain every 30th day.

But nono, everyone is out to hurt the game and its a conspiracy and the usual streamers bad bullshit from a 40 year old loner sitting in a basement somewhere eating his cheetos while hoping he can make a name for himself in a dying supposed to be PvP MMO game.

This is why drugs are bad for you kids, dont do it.

Not to mention that steam probably counted you as playing when you were actually just setting your queue ticking so that you can play 4-5 hours later.

I have no clue what the point or purpose of this thread is except that you wanted to name drop one of the most idiotic streamers around in Asmongold and then I have no clue how Kira and Josh are nor do I care who they are.
