This lie that 90% dropped the game

Asmongold is a hater, a depressed person who loves to find the bad things in everything. A generally very negative person and should not be taken seriously. Kira and Josh are the newb youtubers trying to use the same approach as Asmongold to get noticed.

If you look around on Youtube, these are the only three youtubers who focus on negative talk in general. This lie that 90% dropped the game being perpetuated is Amazon’s mistake when they forced everyone from all time zones to login at the same exact hour to reserve their names. This is what caused a peak of 900k players and the “drop” is because people simply got their names and went back to playing during normal hours in their respective time zones.

Between October 1st, and November 1st, the game lost 600k in player peak. That is a 2/3 loss.

(And before anyone jumps to state that peak players isn’t the real amount of player… yeah. It doesn’t matter. Peak players is anyway a measurement that is proportional to real players. We don’t know what value real players is, but we know peak players, and that they are proportional. So a 2/3 loss on peak players means a 2/3 loss on real players)

So if you are implying that the 600k player loss over the first month were people just logging in to register their name…
I don’t know what to tell you…

It’s not easy to find a name that no one is using

well yeah man lets face it the argument that its 60k x 24h or 20h lol the peps that remains are the hardcore that play a lot. (theres some that maybe i say maybe log out after 1h but lets assume lol peps are playing more than 1h before quit. So if you have 50% of the number is moving each hours you dont have healthy player base. Pretty sure you donc get more than 200-300k of different people in a day. The peps that are here in the morning can be the same that log back few hours too. We see ghost town and ghost open world so it is empty

While I absolutely love the game, you can just check Steam achievements to see the percentage of ppl who left. Like reaching lvl 60, winning OPR and so on.

one thread wasnt enought attention?

Yeah and it was due to massive queues. This was bound to happen. This game is not made for this much crowd so it is good that the player count fell down. People could actually start playing the damn game. And right now? Just merge serves until healthy pop is achieved so they will naturally live with mass PvP and OPR

Fail troll school?

Seriously, these topics should be merged into one thread.

90% of players are casuals and play less than 1 hour per day.

They do not appear in peak hours.

How hard is that to understand?

Eh, I don’t mind if 90% fell off. I expect it to hit 30k-40k when Lost Ark comes out, then the gradual increase when they discover it’s another Grind Fest, but with the pay to win/convenience (as in paying money will save you a couple months playtime when working towards goals) aspect of Korean games.

Looking forward to the map expansion. Hope they manage to fix war lag, increase the map size, and increase the player cap. Woulld be nice to have about 150% larger map size, with a 4k player cap server and an average of 2k-3k players a server.

I see you never made it past 2nd grade math class. Yes darling 90% of the player base since the launch of this game have ceased to play. Go drool someplace else now.

So everyone should not be taken seriously beside you

Thank you for your TED talk.

How do you know exactly when anyone that is not within your line of sight is or is not playing? Please clearly explain.

what are the lies they told?
