Hey Don’t insult Forever early access games. 7 days to die is one of the best games I ever played… This seems almost as bad as a chronicles of eleryia, lol. However AGS did release a game.
I went from neededing about 700 crafts to need 1400 to finish my JC from 160-200
All at pristine level. No xp bonus, what a total xp nerf.
When comes the fix?
Please please please revert this nerf, no one asked for it, JC is already a pain enough to level up. 700 pristine gems is really hard to come by and now you’re telling us we need DOUBLE???

AGS, company jewelcrafters were probably 90-95% of the people able to hit 200 before the patch. By doing this, you are giving them a massive advantage and actually creating a barrier to entry for smaller players. If you had to adjust the scaling of the profession, why would you not adjust down the people who got 200 JC by the same factor of the nerf? That really seems like the only fair way to do it…

This is actually a good point. I’ve always favored subscription games, because if you are unhappy you take your money with you. Not resubbing to their mother company could have the same result. Let me think on this one a bit.
If you use orichalcum you get more xp ? In my memory only the lvl of the stone was increasing xp

I believe that the experience is dictated only by the tier of cut gem, unless that was changed

If you try and lower their exp, then they would have a valid complaint that they should be compensated for the exp they missed out making jewelry at 200JC.
I doubt AGS even tracks exp when you hit 200, making such an adjustment just a massive punishment for playing their game.
Best to just hope that JC gets exp lowered / we receive compensation for leveling it in the current state. I’m just going to stockpile gems until December 1.2 update, and run elite chests… Woohoo

Apricot, I think you guys should seriously reconsider how you rolled out this profession leveling nerf. There are many many players who see this as a pretty unequitable move that is punishing them for essentially being less privileged. If you guys wanted to make the ceiling much higher to fit your development timeframes or what-have-you, I think the most fair way to go about that would necessitate a scaling down of experience already earned by a factor comparable to the nerf. Right now, those who hit 200 pre-patch are essentially trading post gods.
