This patch takes even more fun out of the game and you are already losing players

besides the new weapon which has its own problems, all you did to your game was make it more grindy and less rewarding(elite hp and chests). it almost feels like these changes purposely came with the VG to disract us from these terrible changes…

also, as a mage, fire staff & ice gauntlet’s abilities have been bugged forever and have already BEEN annoying to deal with, they were almost unusable… but instead of just fixing them what do you do, NERF THEM BOTH… why?? if you don’t want mages in the game then you might as well just get rid of the weapons completely because now we have nothing to compete with the meta you created and don’t want to play anymore anyways.

I highly suggest that you be transparent and actually announce these things/ideas first, THEN get the feedback, THEN do your ptr, THEN implement it correctly into the game how the PLAYERS want it and are happy with…

the more changes you make, and systems you put in place that make things more inconvenient and unenjoyable for the players, the less you will have logging into your game. BE TRANSPARENT… why do you think it would be a good idea to put something into the game that you had to “stealth” in because the players wouldn’t like it. if you know we won’t like it, DONT PUT IT IN THE GAME… listen to your players first or you won’t have any.

Fill us in, what were the stealth changes?

a stealth buff to the elites in shattered and nerf to the chests. also the PTR that everyone was so happy with and excited for, did not include those changes, and some other things people are saying. just look around in the forums and you’ll see

They remove the only fun people have in a non-content game instead of focusing on work in new content and fixing many important game-breaking bugs.

Why expend resources and time making Myrkgard harder for players that have nothing better to do in the game with huge bugs on combat, instability and many others.

This list grows every patch Known Issues - New World and AGS losing time and energy removing the little fun most players have in the only end game content in the game.

exactly what I was thinking… instead of giving us more to do, they just make what we already have take longer… the game is already extremely repetitive and they’re just making it worse

Many in my company don’t want to do chest runs anymore, we used to do with a minimum of 20 players, today I had to wait for a random train and just follow them because had only 3-4 of my company interested. All the buffs to the zone and nerf to the loot remove the rest of the interest many people had.

I’m playing this games hour per day since Preview, saw all the changes on Closed Beta and since release constantly playing hours per day. Today was the first time that I just log off because I felt do not worth play the game that break so much stuff on every patch.

Chest nerf and Ebonscale mob buffs were not intended, along with many other issues this patch.

Yea but Myrk mob buffs Were intended. THey’re just trying to make the grind even worse than it already was, because they’re incorrectly thinking that will keep us here.

This game has truly become a passion of mine, but if they continue ignoring the community and think releasing more and more broken things instead of fixing what needs fixing then I don’t believe I’ll be here a whole lot longer.

There are some places where the outdoor elite areas are pretty face roll, it’s hard to argue they aren’t - however I do agree the Myrkgard changes in particular have been too much, I do believe many of these difficulty increases have been a bit too much.

Agreed, I started using the IG/FS at a very low level and that’s all I used in attempt to master the weapons. Now the IG has been gutted and the FS has also been nerfed into the dirt. After 100’s of hours of trying to achieve a high skill level with this weapon combo I’m now being forced to switch to something less enjoyable. It’s disheartening to say the least and if they continue to move pvp to a gear oriented system rather than a skill based one they’ll lose a lot of players.

It’s like they never stop and think: will this make the game more or less fun for people. I’ll be back to check in next patch. :peace_symbol:

Would be surprised if the game lasts until Christmas with the changes they make tbh.

You really do need to ask, who is balancing combat

I’m OK with the loot nerf, as I think it will help crafted gear become more important. I don’t mind that it will take longer to get the HWM high enough for 600 drops (yes this does benefit the rush to 60 folks).

I mostly don’t like the buff to the mobs (now requires bigger groups) and the fact that this source of T5 refining materials are harder to get.
