I just bough the game posted on technical section to get help I couldn’t connect to the game, and I got the normal troubleshooting reply, contacted live chat and they kept going with the troubleshooting steps, I asked many times is the game region locked or blocked anywhere and they said no, guys I’m in Egypt is it blocked no, then they told me it’s your ISP problem you need to check with them and ISP said they don’t block any games currently and I might get issues with VOIP or VPNs but not the game it self surely, well replied again on forum post an I got the answer you’re in Egypt your country blocks the game! what? your support said it’s not blocked in Egypt, contacted support again said it’s not blocked in Egypt and who is it blocked and I can ping the servers? why Wireshark show’s everything is okay but keeps waiting for u r packets without receiving anything at all just the time I try to login, how amazon website works in Egypt while u guys says it’s my country issue??? last thing why don’t you guys remove it from steam Egypt? Isn’t a good idea? or are you just happy with people buying and downloading the game and they remove it???
What is the error you are getting when launching the game?
I did have a connection issue once where if I disabled IPV6 and relaunched the game it then allowed me to connect.
Never had the problem since after turning IPV6 back on.
Are you in Egypt? they said it’s blocked in Egypt somehow and I’m sure they have no clue how or why it’s blocked or even a confirmation that the game is blocked in Egypt, the error is Unable to connect to server, please confirm your internet access and try again
No, i am not in Egypt. That is a different error then i received. Hopefully you get get a direct answer from a Dev.
tbh Devs aren’t honest from my first time contacting them said it’s not blocked, then it’s my ISP problem then last thing they said your country block it, then if my country do block the game why didn’t you told me from first time? why you decided it’s my ISP problem and then once you have nothing to say u throw it to the country blocking the game. they stopped answering me anyway they have no clue what’s going on
Looking at this older thread it looks like it is blocked in Egypt unless you have a VPN or something
A quick Google search makes it appear that this game is blocked in Egypt. Not by Amazon’s choice. But by your country’s choice.
You basically have two options in that regard:
1: Use a VPN.
2: Get a change in government, revolt, whatever.
Option 1 would likely be the fastest way to get playing.
If the same issue with the same country are repeated it’s not a must that the issue is the country blocking the game, as there’s nothing tells in my country that they blocked the game even ISP says the same, so what makes it game is blocked by government? who said that? other than support agent after troubleshooting and blame the ISP??
