Thoughts on the new music system as a disabled player

Its fun but very frustrating. The most frustrating about it as someone who can only use one hand is you can’t change keybinds. im not asking you to lower pace of keys to music or difficulty, just allow me to change keybinds

I haven’t played yet so I don’t know how it works but if you can’t play it this deserves a bump. Hope there is a fix for ya mate. @geekboy09

tbh, its basically following a note to a key on the keyboad or mouse, kinda fast paced but thats kinda the challenge that i like, its just the current keybinds arent ideal. i just know if theres no changing keybinds, no point in me even trying

Its basically the same as guitar hero if you ever played that.

I’m so sorry. I managed to cope enough to play the songs kinda poorly, but losing my spacebar keybind this patch kills about 75% of content for me.

It’s such an astonishing choice to me for the devs to lock down the biggest key on the keyboard for an internal function. Or really to prevent any keys from keybinding at all.

Yea, it would be a huge quality of life increase, and accessibility fix to allow you to not only change the keybinds just for music. But to also change the symbols.

I still can’t handle why the default is LETTER KEYS. Nobody playing the game thinks about WASD while they are moving around – it’s up, down, left, etc.

It just means dismantling my brain’s typing skills that “When I press D, it’s actually move-right button…which is definitely my F-key typing finger, but stop thinking of F, because it’s the D button…”

I realize there are directional indicators around the letters, but it’s way more subtle so I’d love to be able to change it. It’s hard for me to understand why a majority of players wouldn’t just want something like this:  :arrow_left: :arrow_left: [–]
