I’m not one to judge because I’ve been there but if 40$ is the difference of keeping your wallet ‘intact’ then you shouldn’t have bought a new game lol
Jokes aside - I can see both sides to this request. On one hand you have players who can get their money back at least in portion or some compensation for the poor quality of gameplay in the last 25% of the live version of the game.
On the other hand if you take away the funds from AGS they can’t afford to fix it. Yes Amazon has billions to spend but in a business world you have to justify why it’s worth spending. What’s the gain. If funding is reversed, Game 100% dies because no one works for free you know
The box price of the game has no bearing over whether or not they are fixing the game. The game is broken and either they fix it or give refunds. This is how class actions start.
This is nearly the exact same situation as cyberpunk 2077

Personally I think the game is great.
The gathering and world map as a whole are top notch.
The crafting, faction, terrority wars, exploits, bugs, dupes, pvp, perks, balance, taxes, trading post, war board and general day to day life however could use some polish
