Time to combine opr and 3v3 gypsum

Literally cant wait until the 18th so I never have to do OPR again. Muts will yield plenty of shards for what I do

If you don’t enjoy it no one is forcing you to play it.

The only thing that OPR gives that isn’t available anywhere else is the PvP gear in opr caches, that are easy to farm.

Don’t play it if you don’t enjoy it.

Daily Gypsum my guy, 2 matches per day which I usually do in my sick fishing gear

2 OPR games can take up to 1h and 20 mins. If you wanna farm gypsum alot of others are way faster.

I can’t think of any others that are slower to get if you know what you are doing.

Wow, do I get my gypsum for that?

Exactly, only people with meta build enjoy the current opr.

If you read my post, we have two sides of the opr game making it worse. BIS dex players forcing a zerg playstyle, and a bunch of dead weight/bad players spamming opr for rewards. It is the same people every game, and I have tried almost every timeslot.

100% a dex player

This is the problem, and its worse knowing which team will win 3 min in a 40 min game. Why not have a pvp gypsum so 3v3s give 4 gypsum instead of just 2?

Then don’t play it
You don’t have to do all dailies which this game provides. Go out and touch some grass instead.
And go on tomorrow with the content you actually enjoy. Cause that’s what games are for. For fun.
I personally play this game only because of OPR. All the other content is meaningless without it for me. And for how it is now the OPR rewards are beyond dogwater

Like I said, it is same people in every game. Let me guess 20 opr games a day, but I’m the one that needs to touch grass?

All I’m saying is this game isn’t like LostA. Where you’re forced to play 10characters and do every single daily there is each to just see any progress xD
LIke you can skip half of the dailies here and you will still progress at a good pace. You could even argue it goes too fast if u do only half of them.
So the balance here for any kind of player is really nice

You didn’t really answer any of my questions and some of your assumptions are just wrong.

I play axe hatchet ATM, not a Dex player at all.

I’m trying to understand your perspective but still no closer to that. You have experienced issues that I never have and I play OPR alot.

Please inform us. Because all I see is very poor solutions to issues I have never seen before.

All of your suggestions would make the opr experience worse on my server, so it would be great if there was some reasoning behind these. Thankyou.

Problem with you people is that you blame gear for OPR inbalance when actually it is just game not having classes and no balance.

For example.

One team has healers, other dont.

One team has muskets/bow others dont. ETC ETC ETC

To balance this you need a lobby before match starts, like mutation group finder. To split weapon betweens two teams equally. And even then you will face problems.

In some builds rapier is for running, in some it is for damage and so on and so on.

I’m honestly amazed that people still struggle with OPR. It’s a clear sign that they haven’t taken the time to actually learn the game.

What questions?

Yeah, death save than run away players.

If you cant tell who is going to win within the first 5 min, then really didn’t play opr a lot. Most of the loser team is playing for KD and do jack except extend the game for an ego boost. I consistently get 40 min games on teams of no life dead opr weight. Back capping does nothing. destroying tents does nothing. Baron is sniped by dex or team loses it while I fight the dex players in open ground with no cover. There is no input I can put to win these games and I’m stuck with road fighters for 40 min. The whole game is hoping the zerg does something, but they stick to road fights for KD.

It makes everyone else’s experience better other than the no life opr as a full time job players that are dead weight to lose most game or pick off pve players/sit in premade teams till max empower from 12pm-10pm. OPR used to be fun but now is horrible. So obviously, there must be something wrong with the people that now camp it making it worse.

This is not going to fix anything. There is professional dead weight players that sit on the road and do nothing. I have seen the same people in my opr games in every time slot losing games while defending the current opr meta. Like there is a full two groups of garbage that needs to be carried to a win, and they think they are pvp players.

If you read my post, dex gear is designed to go after low gs players and pve people to max their empower ring perk. Its pretty much designed harassment. I can’t sit and defend them or no one pushes sun, and I cant kill them after because dex + rapier. Then after 20 mins, I am getting 3 shot by muskets in almost full resilient gear with physical aversion and 160 con.

OMG, its an opinion you don’t like. Time to comment “git gud”. How about you play the game instead of mindlessly comment on forum posts? Too trash to go into 3v3s, so you just sit in the opr zerg ball for 40 min to get that ego boost?

If you don’t like OPR don’t play.

Doesn’t mean you deserve the gypsum if you don’t want to play the mode. Just accept the loss of the gypsum and move on or grind it.

The choice is yours. It isn’t the games job to reward you for not liking something.

I love that you can’t fathom any other possibility other than the two you’ve presented in this thread.

I’ll try and make a video this weekend showing how solo players (even melee) can actually control the flow of the map.

Cheers!

(and git gud)

I like old OPR and want them to fix it. The problem is no lifers holding everyone hostage with their garbage meta. All those suggestions make it better. If the requirement for rewards is 500 points and I get 1k in the first 3 min of the game, what’s the point of 40 min games?

You are the one posting git gud, and now you are mad? Just don’t post it then lmao. Presented what? Just quit the opr match and get nothing after 5mins in a opr match? I have over 400 opr games, and I know how it works. Better spend the whole weekend looking for the one solo match you would have won anyway, right?

Spending a lot of time doing something doesn’t naturally equate to understanding or being good at it. My wife has been driving vehicles for 20 years, she’s still bad at it. Plenty of people with 3k+ hour in this game that aren’t very good at it.

From the description of how you perceive OPR, I’m not convinced you’ve got a good grasp of it.

Then dont play it.
