If you did your job correctly then no one can talk trash about you or your job it’s really that simple.
Once you make a declaration of X is suppose to work Y way then it should do just that. If X doesn’t work then why doesn’t it work?
I don’t know about you but if I messed up on key aspects of my job I wouldn’t have a job. Imagine a plane landing gear not working on 50% of flights it’s flown. The mechanics or whoever would be held accountable and not have a job.
A less extreme example that everyone can relate to is if you order a sandwich and it’s missing the meat you’d complain. They add meat but remove the cheese you’d ask why and complain. Then they add the cheese and you’re missing the bread and mayo. After replacing everything you find out the meat isn’t beef it’s chicken so after all of that it’s still wrong and not as advertised.
That sandwich maker probably wouldn’t have a job if they did that over the course of 3 months.
I guess I have to spell it out because I figured it was implied.
If this happened to hundreds of customers over 3 months it’s a problem and should be nixxed. 30 seconds or 30 minutes it really doesn’t matter how long it takes to rectify a mistake. Fact remains someone or multiple people are constantly failing to do their job correctly.
Man there are some pretty big babies on these forums. A new game had bugs, Holy crap, that was unexpected…PSYCH. If any of you ever played WoW at launch ( one of the GOAT games) you’d remember bugs and servers going down for DAYS not hours. In comparison to other launches, I’d say they are doing a fairly decent job at taking in feedback, pushing updates, and balancing time with testing ( you want to sit in testing for months before a patch just so we avoid a couple bugs)? Am I denying this game has serious bugs, no. But I think AGS has been doing a reasonable job at addressing them the fastest they or any other company could, so just stop the trolling and look at the positive things this game has brought. I can turn on the news if all i want to see is the son and gloom crap.
Why would i leave a positive review for a game that is a mess. ½ finished. Poorly designed content that keeps getting ignored. The game has the worst aggro mecanics i have seen in a game. Respawn timer is a mess. And other issues… But we get nerfs to prolong the content.
OP is a mindless fanboy that simps for the game. You are part of issue. You defend garbage like this, and try to get people to make positive reviews, for a game that shouldn’t get positive reviews
So because others have done it in the past, it’s okay to do it? So if someone punches you in the face, it’s okay for the rest of us to punch you in the face. Because others have done it. Stop defending ½ finished games. Yes games will have bugs. But some of the issues this game has/had could have been avoided if they had actualy tested it and not rushed it. It’s mindless fanboys like you that ruins the industry, because you keep defending garbage like this. I would assume you also buy Fifa every year. The game has had quite a bit of gold exploits/duplication of items, in a short amount of time.
So, basically, you left a review that glosses over the real problems the game is having, and are lying to prospective buyers, to ‘counter’ the bad reviews.
Sorry, I don’t see any of the problems so many others point out. Low population? They gave you a token to transfer. If you didn’t use it or transferred to a low population server, that’s not AGS’ fault.
The problems like the exploits, the multiple duping exploits, the slap-on-the-wrist punishment for duping, the bots…
These are all real problems, even if you ignore them.
In fact; ignoring them to leave a good review to ‘counterbalance’ the bad reviews makes you a liar and makes your review as much as, or more toxic, than the bad reviews.
Exploiters are a problem even if you don’t exploit.
I don’t cheat, but I know cheaters are a problem because I’m not a self-absorbed prick.
But it’s clear you live in a tiny bubble where only you matter to you, and thus you see no problem with lying in a review, because it makes you feel better, and you hope it brings more people into a game you like, even under false pretenses.
Just curious what’s your level and watermark? How many crafting professions do you have at 200? How many wars per week are you doing? I’m just asking so I can understand your perspective. I’m not trying to shame anyone but I loved this game for the first 40 levels and then the bad became clearer. The more I played the worse the game was.
I’ve joined many wars, but unfortunately the company kick me instantly because i’m not in their company. I haven’t been allowed in any invasions either: instantly kicked. I’m in a small company and thus we aren’t allowed in wars/invasions. I spend my time doing open world PvP and outpost rush. I own three houses with lots of different trophies.
I’ve made about 150,000 coin and my current gearscore is 593. I’ve played about 700 hours according to Steam.
Yeah how about we leave honest feedback on the game on Steam and not a bunch of propaganda fake news. The game has some major flaws to be addressed. Population is tanking and the bots are still an issue, they just moved off the main worlds and into the OPR where they make far more money or they are all on low pop servers and are waiting for the merges to cash in.
