Timed out while waiting for server to describe world

I was running around in the world, questing and the suddenly got “Lag detected” on screen, then 1 minute or so the game kicked me and couldn’t log in back ever since, getting “Timed out while waiting for server to describe world” message every time.

I created a character in another server and I can play the game just fine, just my main character won’t log in.

I have tried the following:

  • Disabling IPV6
  • Flushing DNS
  • Restarting router
  • Reinstalling the game
  • Verifying game files
  • Reinstalling EAC
  • Removing the character and recovering it via live chat support
  • Attemping to connect using mobile data
  • Port forwarding

Been like this since October 14th at 23:00

No luck for this game is in shambles. So broken in so many ways

Finally I’ve got to play this wednesday after patch and server restart. I don’t think that the patch solved anything, just my character got unlocked because of the server restart. I’ve found in this forum someone else with the same problem claiming that his character got unlocked after a server restart. So, stop doing stuff like reinstalling the game and fiddling with the network settings since it’s clearly a server thing, not a client problem.

Thanks for the update…What a shame…Oh well, time to go binge Squid Game until the next server restart then!

Ive reached out to them via support and its the same generic answer every time, they are destroying there own game

Throwing my name into the hat with list of growing players that are unable to play due to this bug/issue!!!
Its been 7hrs for me on Hyperborea server.

Bug was activated when i fast travelled to Shattered Mountain and try to complete quest, then LAG DETECTED, then this issue!!!
