Also I just want to say that if I am in a area with a lot of people that is when I get the Lag detected. So it must be something on their end. Because Im a lvl 26 and I was bored and wanted to explore so I made my way to the settlement in Ebonsomething lvl 50-60 zone, nobody is here. And I am not getting any problems with lag. I also dont lag late at night in the early am.

I got Lag Detected which booted me from the server, then I cannot log back in, only getting the message: “Connection Error: Timed out while waiting for server to spawn the player”. Also like the OP, I can make a character on another server, which plays fine, no connection issues.

I got lag detected and left the game. Now I cannot log in and every time I attempt I get the above error message. I am able to load other characters on different worlds AND servers.

SO i posted two post up, its been 4days (80hrs~) and still I cannot login back to my character. Every new character I make on different servers, works fine. After two Live Chat calls with support, it basically comes down to they know the issue and are working on it…
I guess i can only hope that a server maintenance will do something and it doesnt happen again. GL and hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Issue: Apparently the expedition server crashed on Oct 11 2021 at 22:34 CEST, now people are unable to log back into te game getting the error message: “timed out while waiting for server to describe the world”

Was in the ‘Depths’ dungeon when I got disconnected and can’t reconnect since then
So I reinstalled and followed settings I seen someone switch from youtube when he got same error during beta. Nothing. I dont know if yall have a vpn but once I turned mine off it worked fine. I really would like to not have to keep it off to play… but it did fix my issue with this. Hope it helps
