Yeah I gave AGS a break during beta and for an entire month after the game released.
I did this because we’ve given games like WoW a break thousands more times than other MMOs.
At which point do we see the negative feedback loop happening in game and not ask for better?
But this is what these communities do…especially forum communities. With enough time, reddit will go back to spamming hemp on the forums. And it’ll be all fine.
So does Zenimax, ArenaNet, Blizzard.

Perhaps if you don’t like seeing people criticizing the game on the only outlet available to them (that the devs may actually see), then you and your thin skin should probably stop visiting the forums.

Fyi our company and sister company with almost 200 people (before the latest patch killed it) had most in their 30s. I believe the youngest lad we had was 22, so far from the children you may be talking about.
What you are seeing is an mmo community, that sees all the potential of a game. Constantly getting crushed by issues, bugs, exploits and bad move after bad move on AGS part. Don’t forget alot of the issues were present in Beta 1 and Beta 2, with those willing to share regarding Alpha saying the same thing just cannot verify personally.
If you dont like reading the negative threads…newsflash, dont read them.
There are many reasons to complain about how things have been handled, some legit, others OTT, but I dont think AGS need a fanboi base to defend them
I mean most of us forum rats are cringe. I literally went back and looked at some of my post and was like wtf…but yeah you are right still.
They’re a minority, and though quitting would be better, they believe being loud is their only option. We just gotta live with em.

And? It shouldn’t have been released with the majority of issues people have complained about. Flagging an entire set as future content. And it seems the code is so interwoven that they can’t fix one thing without breaking a few more. The people and company may not be perfect, but lack of perfection and trying does not make anybody above criticism either.
Criticism IS valuable feedback.
What he doesn’t realize is that once the complaints end this game will really be dead. Be happy there are enough players to complain about all the glaring issues in the game. They won’t all be here for much longer the stats shows.
