I did the files integrity verification on Steam and it found 2 broken/corrupted files. This keeps happening and not only with me. There’s a lot of threads here and some friends of mine are having the same issue.
Now, even with the corrupted files re-downloaded, the problem is still here.
I was playing the game without a problem, checking my achievements then I to the kitchen to get my lunch and when I got back, achievements and titles were bugged, again.
Here’s a new info that I noticed: I was kicked from the server thanks to the inactivity. Maybe this is what is causing this problem? Well, I don’t remember if the other times that this problem happened I was kicked, but I don’t that’s the problem since yesterday I tried to verify files integrity and enter the game but the problem was there.
Additionally, I will say that despite achievements not showing in game for me since Sunday, new achievements still appear to be getting pushed through to Steam ok.
I have this bug as well. I’m really frustrated because I’ve tried verifying several times and rebooting my PC. The achievements sometimes work after doing those things, but it’s random. I like looking at my progress and my achievements and changing my title in the games I play. =(
Same issue. However, the homeowner achievement/title never resets even when the others do, so I guess Ill never get that unless I get rid of my first house and buy again.
