Issue that occurred: All titles and achievements missing
Time and Date: 24.08.2022, ~20:00 CET
World/Server: Abaton
Basically, i have played New World last time a long time ago, before Asgard was merged with Abaton, and i had a lot of achievements and titles in my character’s bio.
Today i have logged in for the first time after merge, and all my titles and achivements are just gone.
I have also tried to relog and completely restarted my game client. It didn’t help.
I would love to have them back. Thank you!
May be known, but I’ve had this consistently for probably every play session I’ve had over the last week at least, so relogging is probably not the workaround.
I kinda meant every time you relog check again. It’s very hit and miss. I got Skills Grandmaster a while back and probably took a couple weeks before the titles popped up so I could change mine. It’s very buggy.
So my achievements were never like this before. I had always had a few buggy achievements I could never trigger, like the 260 stat ones, but I would never be completely unable to see which achievements even exist to work toward. Honestly If it had been like this for me for weeks prior I’d probably already have quit, as there is barely anything to work toward in this game BESIDES achievements.
That being said, now that this patch occurred now even my stuff is buggy and I cant see any achievements, titles are seemingly stripped. This patch was supposed to fix it but now I’m in the same boat as everyone else. This is such a damn joke. So much for that patch right?
This unintended feature has been present since installation in ALPHA. Sometimes it works; sometimes it does not. It would appear that the speculative fix did not meet expectations.
Isn’t there a PTR for a reason? Why is my, non broken stuff, getting broken now lmao. Never had a problem with achievements until this patch, being forced to verify game files.
Thank you for alerting us that this patch didn’t quite seem to solve the issue. We’ll review it again so everyone can go back to completing all their achievements! Though as mentioned in this thread, this issue isn’t actually impacting your ability to complete the achievements, just to visually see if you’re completing them.
To the contrary, it IS actually preventing us from completing achievements.
I have zero incentive to complete an achievement in game if I’m going to have to redo it on an alternate character at a later point when they fix it in order to get credit on steam.
Good god, what if this is someone else with a 300 territory standing achievement, having to redo it all over because of a buggy achievent system?
Its absurd to me that not being able to even see which achievements are able to be done, and your progress towards them 90% of the time you’re playing is supposedly “not impacting your ability to complete the achievements”.
If I cant see the achievements or my progress in completing it, I’d say that makes an impact into getting it completed, not to mention steam not recognizing the achievement.

I was affected by this yesterday. I logged in/out repeatedly while in Mourningdale. They still didn’t show. I exited the game, verified game files, restarted steam, started the game, wait at character selection for a few minutes, then logged in and still didn’t show.
Lastly as suggested above I ran somewhere without people, logged out and back in, and finally my achievements were showing again.
