To all those "PVE" players

What if the corruption just kept growing? What it continues to expand and gets stronger unless they are dealt with? What if they get so vast that they have the ability to actually shut down main towns? Either they are dealt with or the corruption takes over said main settlement and either shuts it down, or the current factions loose it? To add some fun, when corruption grows, there also have crystals or tier 5 mine/gather essentials that can only be found inside the corruption and are only farmable once they have been defeated? This gives the “PVE” crowd something to do, and it also makes the corruption “have” to be dealt with. Right now, as it is, no one even touches them, except lowbies that need the azoth so they hit the lvl 25s. Thoughts?

dude you cant have mechanics that have an actual negative impact on gameplay or the carebears will go mental and quit.

why do you think we have this pathetic joke of a territory control system now?

  1. please… segment your list and add spacing or bullet points
  2. to do that they would need to layer things as it is not just a simple object spawning on the same location but something that grows as you put it, that would thus require quite a lot of resource on the server resulting in latency issues, or invest in three times the amount of servers which it being a business they would settle for 2 at most as 3 would only ensure stability the remaining 2-5% of uptime.
  3. players log out everywhere, if the layers are not 100% exact it would cause people to pop through the world upon login, and to make it a 100% replica it would take more time than the first design phase as they have to constrain themselves to compare and check, yet we havent even seen the last delayed zone brimstone released yet.
  4. it is not like i dont enjoy the idea, however realistically amazon is not that skilled within game development, take for example Crucible… their long hidden shame a game released to be withdrawn and then scrapped. New World is their 2nd & 1st, yes its still their 1st even if it is their 2nd release as they literally removed the former first from existence out of shame
  5. your idea would work in single player games or other types but key point being layer & login.
