To Be a Grandmaster Quest (Fishing) not showing up!

• Describe the issue you are experiencing:
  Finished all the fishing quests upto Ecological Report, Final Quest “To be a Grandmaster” is not proccing from the quest giver hence making it impossible for me to ever get the Legendary Fishing Rod

• Is this a bug?
  Yes! Because I have the rewards from all the other quests and I am at 150 Fishing so this should’ve procced by now.
  
  The image shows the reward from the tier 5 fishing chest which contains the 3 armour pieces dropped from Ecological Report Fishing quest

• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay:
  It makes me very sad because if the quest giver doesnt actually give me the quest, it would mean that I will never get the reward for the Legendary Fishing Rod and there is literally no other way to get this

• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:
  Nope, I have to work with an Ironwood Fishing Pole

• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  I have no idea but I am a returning player and had this quest pending so when I handed it in maybe it bugged out?

• When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone)
  This would’ve happened exactly a week ago so maybe 7/11/22 Not sure what time because at the time I thought this is not a big deal maybe it will come up again once I level my stats.

However the npc “Gaspar Machera” in Reekwater doesnt seem to be giving me the quest and I am now at 150 fishing. Please help me with this I am a long term player and active and its really disheartening that I cant get the Legendary fishing rod or even craft it.

Hi @Dragon1,
I had a look at your issue and it looks to me like its not just you after there are a few others out there with the same issue where they are not having the Fishing Quest show up making it basically impossible for us to Receive the final quest reward.

Considering that your message was about 25days ago and the mods have still not gotten back to you with either a compensation or a fix for this I think my chances here are also very slim.

I think when the servers got merged if we had the questlines it somehow got bugged.
I am almost at 200 fishing now and the quest has still not shown up for me.

It’s sad but fingers crossed maybe someone will come to our assistance

So just to clarify, this is a confirmation that I am no longer able to get the Legendary fishing rod?
