Thanks Luxendra. This is a great first step in dealing with the sudden surge of players. Honestly, the team should seriously consider a fresh server with no transfer, make it two with the other one as open pvp. This is guaranteed 100k+ players. I know a company who is preparing for a fresh server and a group of players who never played the game and ready to pull the trigger. These are players who left ff and AA.

Bro you must write this in a thousand other posts made by noobs who got dominated in old servers and think fresh server will solve their problems of being bad at game. But the fact is if they create a billion more fresh servers every single one of them will get dominated by those sweaty ppl in no time. That’s the rule number one in MMO world
Good players will always be good. Sweaty min max will always comes up on top. It’s having a balanced playing field that makes a fresh server more appealing. Why are you hell bent jn denying a fresh server? Afraid that your 625 voidbent you farmed all day will be useless? Lol.

There is no level playing field in MMO. Because when you stop playing game keeps going and others who spend more time than you get ahead. Combine this with experience old players have. What you get is some players hitting max lvl and other stuff in less than a week while a noob like you is struggling with alligators in Cutlass to hit level 30. If they make fresh servers i will personally make and alt there and make you quit the game again in less than a week trust me.
If you want a game that a new map(server) server starts every time you lose go play league. MMO is not for you

Im not a hater dude im a fair play abuser. I would love making an alt in fresh server with my 3k play time experience and knowing every trick in the book. I will max out so fast and manipulate the market so hard. I didn’t even play beta in this game totally fresh start but now im sitting on so much coin i just clear trade post and see people cry in global about prices for one. Im just warning devs what will happen in those fresh servers. Other ppl are not fair like me. Coin sellers are salivating with the idea of fresh servers. This game has limited devs and resources. I prefer devs spend those resources on stuff that actually matter not stupid ideas that are failed before start.
Btw im all in for fresh servers. It will be lots of fun 
because they are scared their server will die and their company cant rule the poor new players again with their taxes desgusting kids who dont have a social life

Because last time they listened to the stupid but loud ppl asking for merges current shit storm of queues happened now all of them regret and say it wasn’t me who asked and low pop servers are not that bad! Its the same again and believe me ppl in this game are so stupid. They sell CDs while literally can insta buy mats from TP and insta sell to buy orders and make more money! They spam un chat for days to sell something for like 100-200 coin higher than putting it on TP and etc
I think that fresh start servers could be done in a proper way, maybe locking out transfers for x months but to create completely new servers and fragment the community is the opposite of what this game needs. What happens down the road when people call for it again? Does that mean you can only transfer among servers within that creation timeline? It just overly complicated things.
It’s a balance between creating that initial rush and having players all be similar levels again and killing off the most dedicated players the game has had.
Having it so old players can eventually transfer into these servers if they wanted to makes the most sense, just restrict it for a solid 6 months. Hell maybe they can keep doing these temporary fresh start servers every once in a while to let people re-experience it over and over again.
I do think that fresh start servers should not start until they implement the territory changes though. Would be silly to do them before that.
I agree, I returned yesterday and thought I’d really like to start out fresh. Sure there will be some who transfer with all items and gold but nonetheless, the new players will be a majority. People will always complain…

If someones can transport “1 year” to fresh server that is not fresh server, its not competition and its not fair play for new characters. That is copy of old server. New name -same old rulers. New players are just chicken foods.
Yeah, sure I would prefer that they didn’t allow server transfers but out of a business perspective, I think it’s a solid one on short term since they will not give out token but users have to buy them.
This new server is +1 server for larger playerbase. It’s not for fresh competition. It’s more space for old characters. It has limited potential because of gear and power gap. Fresh start server is fresh instant competition for all users. New players can be competitive without months of time investment. Every “numbers” are target of competition.
