They went to Maramma and got the copium shaft. Lol.
They came in and took quite a few territories from companies that had held them for awhile pretty quickly and then left. My point isn’t about prim, but more about how a server will recover.
Yea I get you , people are blowing this out of proportion. If they leave a server it let other people do wars too. I guess it’s just a bandwagon thread
I left Maramma to be on Valhalla and I have greatly enjoyed it. Even at 950 players. I’ve been in more wars since leaving Maramma than I got in my entire stay on Maramma.
Now, multiple companies from Maramma have moved to Valhalla and creating shell companies to get more Dec’s than anyone.
It was nice. Before they came there was a loose, broken occasionally, vibe in green.
No shell companies.
We haven’t and didn’t make shell companies for declares and we got plenty of declares for our work. It is starting to slow down and almost every declare is going to shell companies.
We either have to give in and create shell companies to get declares or… Accept that we won’t get one.
Well see what happens. Shell companies aren’t healthy in any way shape or form.
I guess I’ll run Mutas and work on gear til some mega company comes in and sweeps the whole map making more players quit.
The game will live, you’re right. Those players who had everything they worked for robbed from them? They just quit… Lol. Hence the playerbase.

This is exactly the point. You leave a server so you can find wars, they ruin a server and follow you.
You can no longer get decs cause they are 100 players strong and push influence in 3-4 shells a push and get most decs. A chill company just doesn’t get decs when you play on a server with them.

This is how Maramma was too before it became the FotM. I was on it when it was like 3rd or 4th most populated. Then Orun, Pluto and other servers companies all moved and definitely has a different feel than it used to. Not in a positive way either. Lot more toxicity etc. It isn’t horrible but as a whole before all these companies moved here the server was a lot more fun.

Valhalla was and is fun. But it’s got the flavor of the month for some of the Maramma companies. Well see how far it goes. I don’t think it will become what Maramma became though. Maybe it’ll stay healthily stable. 4 am OPR’s are back. I missed that about Maramma. Lol.

Ageeed I was on Maramma before they all came, def made it worse and less enjoyable. So I moved to CoS, we will see who all decides to come here seeing as it will be the new high pop server.
At this point I’m not moving again, if anything I’ll just quit. Not going to give AGS another 15 in transfer

Let the nerds transfer between servers to get their “competetive pvp”. AGS probably earn alot more money because these nerds server transfer between servers believing that the grass is greener on the other side. It’s probably one of the main microtransaction incomes at this point, specially considering all the clown outfits they’ve released.
Even though the playerbase is at an all time low, its still just a minority that cares about wars and territories. Its like pro-gaming a dead game, tryharding Valheim.
The New World e-sport champions will not find better competition in this game unforunately, its too few players:( Noone will put in the effort or return and commit when theres no future for this mmo.
You might just accept the fact that the super-shell-companies are here to stay for the remaining time this game has. AGS havent done anything to change the shell company abuse yet, and it would be too late to do it now anyways. Let AGS grab some money from the competetive New World gamers a few months more before the game dies at Wotlk/Dragonflight release. A way better MMO with actual competetive pvp.

I’ve only seen Prim, Tren and some people left MoDTC, Harvard isnt technically from Maramma, but they were on Maramma. Pretty sure supple stays and soaks WW til the server is dead. Lol.
Not sure who all came, but I’m seeing a lot of familiar new names. Lol.
Also, some people have Mercs/alts here.

Well, I used to care about it when I was hoping this game had a future. Many of my ingame friends left the game because of this “issue”. The remaining friends I have in this game only sticks around for community and lols anyway, and will quit when WoW expansions release this autumn. Thats atleast 10-15 players quitting, and probably 2-3% of the playerbase this game has in september.

intresting to see how they do. also yeah i noticed a lot of mercs lately.
so far at the least the map balance has gotten better on val.
