As for your post, things that are against the TOS (which until approved the minimap is) is fair game. I think the minimap is good and should be approved FYI. QOL kind of thing, but I am not using it until there is official word and I am an advocate for reporting exploiting.

If you violate the CoC you should expect to be reported. It’s pretty simple, and the expectation is that everyone complies with the rules set by Amazon.
they could make a it so everyone has the same armor in OPR and convert their weapons to be all the same, all hatchets life staff ect all the same no one has “better”. then it just rolls down to skill and who can use what ever exploit that is inevitably to be in the game at the time. no more complaints about X armor types

New World is the first MMO I’ve ever played (And I’ve played almost every Western and a number of Eastern MMOs) where I’ve seen people literally say “I should never get punished for being an asshole in chat”.
The future generations; the ‘I am not responsible for what I say or do’ generation.
Instead, it’s “You’re responsible for getting upset if I say something meant to upset you”. 
Shit went downhill once parents stopped slapping the rude out of their kids. Now they think being rude is okay and it’s everyone else’s fault if someone don’t like it.
