Tons of UI Bugs Since December 20th Downtime

  Sentinel

• Describe the issue you are experiencing:
  The Inventory screen shows no equipment slotted & broken UI, weight shows 0/50, and going to the Gypsum Kiln shows a broken UI since patch deployed December 20th.

• Is this a bug?
  Absolutely

• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay:
  Unable to manage equipment, can’t use Gypsum Kiln, no idea how much weight from capacity

• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:
  UPDATE: Yes, after a few restarts/verify files. Unsure if the verifying actually did it.

  It’s been like this since logging into the game post-patch.

Yes, and it didn’t fix it. I restarted the game, which didn’t fix, then verified & restarted and eventually it seemed to fix it. There were a few others on my server that experienced the same issues after the patch, though, so I don’t think it’s a just-me thing.

This has been a bug for long time, a bit rare tbh but I’m sure like many other bugs that are 3-6+ months old, it won’t be permanently fixed. At least it’s fixable by the user after a couple log outs.

I cannot log in to my character. The game crashes. I’ve got the specs in my pc and also have updated all drivers and check validity of integration of files in New World. Additionally, I am able to log in to another character and play normal. How can I get my character who is “stuck” if my game crashes every time I open the game? please assist.

Appreciate the “short term fix” but hope that’s not your long term answer UI bugs are pretty bad atm, here are a few I got this play through in 40mins. Not relogging during a timed m10 run and ruining it for the group.
