I am a Prime subscriber New World player. I deleted my 60 level character just to start a new one with my current knowledge about the game. I tried several looks, could not warm towards them and deleted. After trying 2-3 times, I am now encountering an error while creating a new character, saying “too many characters created recently”. It’s only been a month I started New World and I did not even know there was a character creation/deletion limit. I was so focused to play, got badly frustrated about this limitation. I now understand this could be a deterrent precaution for coin sellers, etc. but is there any possibility that you could remove this limitation from my account for one time only because I was not aware of such a limitation? I am awaiting your kind response. Thank you in advance.
Hope you’re doing great, I’m sorry to hear that you’re getting that error message for the character creation, this was a restriction added recently and its a daily limit, this restriction should be lifted by tomorrow (24h restriction) on your account.
I learnt about the limitation after I received the error message. Isn’t it possible to make a one time exception at least knowing after that your automated system has limited a regular player? There isn’t either any indicator about this on character creation page. Therefore, how was I supposed to know about this before receiving the error? Please remove the limitation on my account -at least once- so I can play the game I paid for.
I mean you had a level 60 character and you deleted it as you said. You were playing the game you paid for. Until you made a bad decision. You came right to the forums after receiving the error message. Did you not think to click on the patch notes on the log in screen for the game or read the patch notes posted on the forums the night before the patch?
First of all, thanks for taking your time off to reply.
Since when deleting a character is a bad decision? I just wanted to start over with the obtained information related the game so far. This is as usual as creating a character. There are many other games that indicate the remaining character deletion counts or prevent you from deleting at least. What I am talking about here is how they should or at least try managing false positives. Please do not distort the subject.
What? You deleted your max level character so you can make a new one (for whatever reason makes 0 sense) you then roll a new character multiple times (for whatever reason makes 0 sense) get locked out because of a new limitation that you didn’t know about because you don’t read patch notes (for whatever reason makes 0 sense) and are now asking for the restriction to be lifted so you can play the game you paid for that you’ve been playing but decided yeah lemme just delete my max level and randomly roll a new character just for the fun of it. This is exactly the type of post I expect to see on the forums these days. Sad.
Deleting a 60 level character may not make sense to you, but making a fresh start definitely makes sense to me. If I can take the chance to delete a level 60 character which I leveled up with my own efforts, staying awake during nights and spending time in New World, it is my decision that you have no right to judge. I still do not understand why you are this much aggressive towards a player trying to explain himself. Please do not overstep the bounds and keep your distance.
I did not blame anyone. I just expressed my feelings and asked for a reconsideration. Please move away. You are being toxic for no reason. The character creation limitation has already been removed by the staff. Fyki.
Sorry for replying so late, I didn’t mention it sooner I actually investigated if there was a way to lift that restriction earlier but currently from our end we don’t have that option yet, I saw it has been lifted already so I am glad you’re up and running.
