Ya just getting scraps, money, and repair parts would be more enjoyable than having to scrap 50 useless items per dungeon or 100 per chest run. Game is the most inventory management filled mmo ive ever played just fills you up with useless stuff all the time. Not even getting into the whole gearing situation which is another mess of inventory management
People have complained about this from the beginning, the devs acknowledged it and said they were working to make drops better but of course it changed very little. While I did notice an increase in decent drops they still weren’t worth keeping and there are still an insane amount of totally worthless drops. I salvage 99.9% of the drops I get. This is their idea of content (spend your time scrapping) and instead of fine tuning the existing game they keep adding stuff that causes a big update delay and a bunch of patches so they never get to doing the stuff they promised a year ago.
Well, yes, there is such a thing. The person who came up with this mechanics had very little during his childhood and was alone. That is why he compensates for this in a game where you need to run chestrun with a huge number of people and collect a huge amount of things from chests (which was not in his childhood and what he lacked so much). And of course he thinks that all the other players will like it too.
I almost quit a few times because of it. I just decided not to care and just delete everything its been going ok. I do plan on making a bunch of sets during the next patch though since gearing will be slightly less annoying
