Hello. I have a question today about an issue in our server. Basically whats hapening is that some Syndicates have switched to Covenant and thats fine. Whats an issue is that those players had control over land. They left it without active management and are now attacking that land as covenant. its basically a non defendable land and they know it. they are basically handing themself the land. since ToS says we cant hand over any land, is this agaisnt ToS as well? thanks for the help in this matter.
Edit: I think they should have disband the compagny and free that land and then reget it as the other faction. that way it would have make more sense no?
So are you saying that they owned the Settlement as Company X.
Then they all coordinate a switch to another faction as Company Y.
And then attack that settlement knowing that Company X has been depopulated?
Sounds like a type of exploit, but a tedious one since you have to wait 120 days to qualify for a switch.
And in the meantime anyone else can also attack that Settlement.
There is discussions about how it is basically not possible to simply give up control of a Settlement. Maybe that is what they were trying to do because there’s no in-game way to easily do it?
The first faction change can be done right off the bat. the 120 days delay happens after u switched. but u can pick Faction Y day 1 and switch to X seconds after and then u have the 120 days cooldown
