Given all of the attacks and harassment the community team gets, I wouldn’t say bye to the English speakers either.

Unfortunately that’s what they get paid to do. That’s customer service. Maybe they realized it wasnt for them. He will be missed. 
Or he just leaves the sinking ship.

Yeah, seriously. The guy posts a nice farewell and the trolls STILL find a way to turn it into something nasty. I truly hope karma is a thing and people treat these trolls at their place of work the same way they treat others. I’d imagine most would be in tears.

if customers abuse us at our line of work, their contract is void AND they dont get a refund. i love it when people get rude. its a free day off

Just looking at the comments here in this thread alone, I wouldn’t hold it against him to not explicitly create an English thread in addition. The German part of the forum is indeed way less toxic than the English one from my experience.
Also I mean, you apparently noticed his post anyway and instead of leaving some good words on it, decided to again complain about it here, so I assume everyone got what they wanted.
Also maybe but just maybe consider the fact that he posted this in the general forum, as a regular post, not an announcement. So it’s his personal message and not a company statement. If AGS management cared about it, someone higherup would have given an official parting statement. Maybe this will still be the case, maybe not. Either way, he decided to not make a big fuss about it and you could just accept it as it is.

Yeh this is pretty much the worst community I’ve seen in over 20 years of online gaming. Not all of it, but this thread isn’t something I ever saw anywhere else when a dev/CM team member leaves.

No and asshole is an asshole and a karen is just a karen. It is no one’s job to be abused outside of certain kinks.
