Town Money Split - Upkeep too much

Consider lowering the upkeep some more because most towns are barely breaking even and even the big towns are not putting up town buffs on the newer servers like Aukumea.

Happens when you shatter taxes. Now if only all the people whining about taxes were adults with jobs. They might have seen this coming.

That’s bullshit, town owners got taxes welfare multipliers, nobody wants to do the upkeeping when it came for free with the constant gold injection.

Small worlds will not make money. Most of the new servers will lose cash, since most of the accounts on there are company people who moved so they could own something or gathering bots waiting for a full world to unlock to sell mats. FFS will kill what is left of the sub 45 players, since those guys will move in mass.

Yeah, It’s personally not worth transferring out of a transfer locked world for the average player.

If company officers weren’t looting treasuries to buy gear for themselves, there would be money for upkeep.

I’ve been saying that since the tax system was first put in testing. As long as the taxes can be used as a personal bank by a select few, there will be issues with town management.

Omar maybe for an established server, but on my server the towns are barely breaking even at over 30 upgrades.

Then fresh starts stole 30% of our server pop. Which is gonna hurt even more.

I know mate, I’ve been on 2 dead servers already, even with the old system, we couldn’t keep much running for long till AGS merged us, with the new system I know it’s not possible in any way.

AGS did the numbers on fully established servers and not for whatever we have now, a landscape of full new servers that will rapidly dwindle (hope not, but the people migrate and drop frequently) and old servers that are ageing fast and the upkeep curve is too steep.
