Problem:
We all know any company that owns Windsward/Everfall/Brightwood is making more gold than they could ever spend. This leads to RMT and other nefarious activities. Gold difference can be the deciding factor in wars (more gold = better equipment) and overall just makes for an unhealthy aspect of the game.
Solution:
Return the gold generated by housing taxes back to original %. Then to make up for the loss make resource gathering doubled if you own the territory. This will force people to play the game to make $$$ and not just “war log” and walk away with gold cap. Another added benefit of this would change the main towns (WW/EF/BW) to more outward lying towns like Ebonscale for Oricalcum, Reekwater for Tarragon etc.
