Tracking NOT WORKING please help

  • What is your character name in New World: Yipp
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: SEER
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Tracking is not working correctly. Berries and Arcana Plants not showing up on tracking, while ore, nuts, fibers do.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: Can’t see berries or Arcana plants unless I run into them
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No still having this problem
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just logging in
  • When did this happen? About a week or a few days after Fresh Start

I have tried verifying local files etc… still have this problem. I see others reporting tracking issues as well… Please help

@Magva sent me a DM and I posted a response on how do I get you my app data as I was unable to load text files into DM which I have yet to receive a reply so we could move forward with a solution

Here are images of no tracking of Ore or Arcana. It also happens to rare trees, herbs etc… at times.

I do not use overwolf so not having ingame tracking is a significant issue

I’m sorry about the issue you’re having with the tracking on certain items/plants, in this case and due to the nature of your issue and the previous troubleshooting you’ve done already I can recommend you to reach us via player support using the following link: Contact Us | Amazon Games to create a support ticket and review your case in more depth.

Please make sure to add the DxDiag and Gamelogs through a sharing link from a Cloud Storage like Google Drive to the support report, you can pull it following this steps:

DxDiag report:

  • Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  • Click on dxdiag.exe.
  • When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

GameLogs:

  • Game logs can be found on: \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\CrashDB\reports\

My Game log for whatever reason resides in
\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AGS\New World

There is nothing in the reports folder

In that case if the logs are there then you can share us those to be able to review your case in detail.

As well remember that sometimes some folders can be hiden, make sure to unhide all the folders so no log or report get’s missing.
