This has nothing to do with tradepost being locked. (skip below the line to see what went wrong)
So about 1 week ago, I spent a lot of time crafting a ton of ironwood planks, to sell for gold. Very happy when I was finished I went to the trade post to sell them, about 562 of them i think.
But after posting I noticed I was almost broke. when I had around 9k gold before this.
So I went back, and noticed I posted all the 562 planks for 775 each, instead of 7.75 as intended. which ended up costing about 7.9k gold in posting fees… my entire gold stock. I was not sure how this happened, if it was a lag, or if my , got stuck while posting or smth…
So I contaced web support, which said a ingame mod would probably be able to help me if I submitted feedback. So here I am.
I took down the post immeaditly when I noticed the error.
And I have now discovered how this happened; When you post something with a comma, it doesnt register the comma… So 7,75 counts as 775. It doesnt give a error or even a warning… It just proceeds as normal. Which is very weird as atleast in my country the “,” is a full worthy way to seperate desimals from whole numbers.
So in my opinion the “,” should work the same way as “.” or atleast give a error message, or be unable to be entered, as other non-number symbols.
So end of the story; I was really hoping you could look into that, give me a feedback on the issue or even reimburse my lost gold …
Thank you for your hard work, love the game, even though this exact experience was kinda sad.
