a simple system where if you have ever looted a piece of armor you can then use that in the skin window for your currently equipped armor and also dye the equipped skin.
I also suggest allowing us to select axe skin from previous axes we have looted in our characters history, hatchets, staves, etc.
you have a skin window that we can apply skins with, you just need a system that tracks which armor pieces we’ve looted or acquired before.
players who are begging for more feminine skins would have some of their complaints solved too since there’s pieces of light gear that no one uses that are ‘ruffle’ and etc.
Or just make it so u need like 100 pvp kills with one weapon to unlock it as a skin or something like that.
Or collect 50 weapons with the same appeariance to unlock them as skin…
Dropping only 1 would be a bit boring… 50 for not named and 10 for named would be fine i guess.
That gives people actually a reason to farm nameds even if they allready got all drops
I agree that is probably their plan and why it was never implemented in the first place. It’s dumb to think no one at AGS was aware of how popular xmog is in every other game. Cause you know they play other games… I’m also sure they know other people at other mmo’s companies who are like “yeah transmog was a major hit and has been for a decade”… but honestly the store “skin team” needs to read these (hundreds) forums posts that are supposedly being forwarded to them by CM’s. Dear AGS “skin team” you have lots of awesome outfits in the game already that NPC’s wear. Please fancy those up more and put them in the store. It’s like the “skin team” works for a different genre of game and sells AGS the crap they don’t want.
How are they woke? They haven’t gone crazy with skins cause y’all complain it’s not “historically” accurate. That’s why we have all these subpar skins. They’re starting to move away from that.
You’re joking, right? Have you seen the skins, AT ALL, in this game? Have you seen the new sword they just added? Realistic? Please… get off the “realistic skins” garbage, the skins are way over the top as it is. The reason they don’t have good feminine skins is because Amazon, as a corp, is full blown woke. That’s why you choose a “body type” instead of a gender. And that is why they avoid any and all female skins that would be flattering to the female form. Heaven forbid it is used to serve the “male gaze” or “objectify women”.
