In regards to the transparency mentioned in your previous post.
Do we have any news on a date for the 1.2 patch?
Will it be released tonight?
Tommorow?
This week?
Next week?
We(me and my company) are kinda prepping for the patch and withholding alot of materials until we know when the patch hits so that we don’t craft outside of the new crafting system.
So a little hint towards release date would be appriciated.
The winter event was scheduled from December 14th in one of the update posts, can’t seem to find it. I assume the december update will come alongside with it.
I have yet too see anything about 14th december.
I heard rumours about it releasing tommorow.
But from experience any rumours in this game had like 50% accuracy.
Would be nice with a proper response from the developers, by the looks of it, it won’t release this week.
Because all the existing staff will be committed to the mergers I highly doubt it that we will see anything this week. They will need all their resources for the bugs comming from the mergers and will not have time for anything else.

They keep mentioning early 2022 for the expertise system so I assumed there would be an update that is just the winter event and maybe some bug fixes in the next week then a larger update next year once all the PTR testing feedback is done. They have already made a major re vamp to expertise just in a week for PTR feedback.
If I remember correctly, the mentioning of 2022 was about the gear scaling issue this update would bring to us. They will no longer downscale every item to your respective expertise, but rather make it the average of the item gs and your expertise. Think this mentioning was about the downscaling will not happen until early 2022.

In their conclusion they stated that “Everything other than the Expertise’s effectiveness on gear (which will be released early 2022) will be available tomorrow to try out in our PTR.”
I still assume that the update will drop alongside the winter event, but the expertise effectiveness on gear will be delayed until early 2022.

I assume expertise gets released during 1.2 along with the winterevent, so maybe no patch this week then.

I can only assume the update will come alongside on December 14th, although they didn’t directly announce it, they did announce the winter event coming then. If I remeber correctly they aim to release an update monthly, and I am pretty sure there is a “december update”, can’t exactly remember where I heard that.
Furthermore I can confirm gear score effectiveness will start to get reduced early 2022, looking further down in the same blog post:
“In early 2022, when we start reducing the effectiveness of gear to your Expertise level, we will…”
They also state, if your gear score is 520 and you buy a 600 gs musket on the TP, your effective gear score will be 560. So it will be an average.
