That company will mass report anyone who kills them in game.
Well mass reporting doesnāt do anything in itself other than put you at the top of the list to be investigated. If there is nothing then nothing happens, if you said something abusive then thatās when something happens usually. That or you were tent exploiting or something.
The best thing to do is ignore it. If they are actually doing it, then it will actually backfire and can result in them getting banned. Otherwise I think everyone is so paranoid people are doing this that most of the time it was probably some random person instead that reported for something genuine.

That is false, I was just mass reported 2 times and banned in under 12 hours for solo pvping in Great Cleave on Valhalla NA East. I appealed the 24 hour ban and in 12 hours it was lifted. At least 2 companies were openly talking about mass reporting me for killing them claiming I was āgriefingā them while they ran flagged pvp missions in Great Cleave, saying they just wanted to farm missions without fighting. 2nd flag and resulting ban happened 20 minutes of logging in yesterday, killing a group of greens and yellows that were part of the companies openly talking about mass reporting and then hit a ban.

(1) Mass reporting has been a thing since Beta. Thereās never been any satisfactory resolution. Basically AGS just insists that there is no such thing and everything is moderated, and the forums eventually lost interest in providing proof it works and demanding action.
Same thing happens with all major issues such as wanting cheaters and exploiters banned ā devs just keep their head down until people get fatigued.

It is basically impossible to distinguish griefing from OWPVP. If you actually wanted to grief someone, you can just keep going after them and call it āPvPā.
This is just another reason why OWPVP should be deleted.
When someone is griefing someone else, the Ignore function should be the end of it and game systems should not allow other ways to grief a player. OWPVP is an example of a way to circumvent that.
So are some emotes / toys like mudballs in ESO where griefers have been known to literally mudball roleplayers for HOURS.

What about now, we can t kill players in a PVP game ? That s what MMORPG PVP became in 2022 ? When i see the opposite factions then mine, i don t question anything, i attack them ā¦

Iām reporting everyone i see doing that and not saying a word to them about itā¦and then the nerve to claim youāre preserving some sort of truce or the gameplayā¦
If you got mass reported I hope that gets lifted, but from what ive seen people are hacking like crazy to maintain a 0 pvp farm outside of when the mega guilds decide to run everyone down with a zerg.
Idk manā¦ I watched tren hard, copium, supple, on sight, prim, and a couple others just murdering eachother for 6 hours and the only thing put in faction or global was reports for using the tent exploit.
Are you sure theyāre not reporting exploiters? I was there watching it happen. Some people were mass reported for abusing an exploit in PvP.

Actually, the Devs admitted a while back that they have a āFlag Systemā that influences the decision of poorly trained Support personnel that receive the mass report.
Like, if you said a naughty word last month and people mass report you now for trolling, you are more likely to get yeeted that if you never talk in chat like me.
I thought this too until I seen it happen first hand. Our company leader was mass reported the day before a war and banned that day. He doesnt even talk in those chats.
Yeah, but I think this is most any games where you have repeat offenders though? If you told someone to go kill themselves or something blatantly racist in the past, then they more likely to give a higher level punishment.
Definitely know itās not perfect and people do get punished for things that support doesnāt understand the context, sometimes a cultural or language barrier Iāve seen examples of in the past.
But yeah, generally Iāve seen people complain of this but often but presenting the whole story looking for sympathy from others, but having said something the racist, threatened to kill someone, or something just blatantly inappropriate.
I am on Maramma and after killing someone, instantly had someone DM āNo one likes youā haha. Just laugh it off. There is normal banter that shouldnāt be reported and there is some nasty stuff out there as well. Definitely should result in temp bans and if repeated than yeah perm ban eventually.
Ah maybe Iāve been brainwashed to think there is always something legit underneath then haha. Iām just skeptical when people post here saying they got banned for no reason when often they just giving one side of the story. Maybe my skepticism is showing a bit, Iād say you are a pretty reputable source though.

Well, Devs didnāt specify what triggers the flags. They were as vague as possible. But we know vague things like āhate speechā is in the ToS so it can be something as simple as saying āyou suckā
100% correct.
And yet, I havenāt seen the Devs pulling out a Log showing what offense the banned person did.
Also, someone correct me as itās been a while, but the Support guys donāt really access to the game, they just receive the mass report and account information, sooo per their judgement, they can just ban you if they believe your reporters told the truth. Especially cuz itās many.
So mass-report will continue happening. Until the end of times.

This dude skyelighter spam reported my entire convo in recriluitment while i was talking to someone else.
And the only reason i got flagged for a warning is cause i called him a b- a** exploiter.
So , context doesnt matter if you can exploit the system and get away with screwing ppl over.
That is just a fallacy if you believe otherwise in a situation devs know how many scammers or exploiters in game but dont punish them the way they should.
Even when talking to a dev about it. They said itll take time to investigate skyelighter case but next time i shoukd basically unblock and spam report him too. Was their logic. Or the code of conduct instead of showing screen shots of ppl saying skyelighter screwed them over or how he the antagonizer.
So basically tldr,
If you wanna win a spam report. Just unblock and report them. They will get immediately investigated per message.
So i took some time to think about it. And actually anything that helps gets this dude erased off the game, im happy. I was being nice at first to block and allow him to talk trash behind my back cause he doesnt matter at all to me but atp heās just a worthless troll that need his account burned and buried.
