Triumphant Return still not fixed, never got a reply, now closed

Repost, cause i never received a reply, report closed now. Still not fixed, so still not playing. No progression can be made on main story while i’m stuck here.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with main story progression and you got left in the dark, definitely not our intention.

We can try verifying the integrity of files since it usually helps, but since it’s been a while it might be necessary to look into those logs.
So, just in case, log out of steam, run it as an administrator, log in, select New World from your library, select properties and verify the integrity of game files.

I had a similar issue.

I dropped all carried water, re-logged, then used the barrels nearby for water.

I had the same issue, your water is on your belt. I took my 1000+ water and split it so i had 500 on my belt and the remainder in my inventory, then it allowed me to put out the fires.

Hi DevonK. I did take those steps before contacting NW the first time, the only thing I didn’t do was look into logs. I stopped playing out of frustration, however I did receive two comments I’ll be following tonight, and hopefully it works for me. I’ll keep you posted, and thank you for replying, DevonK. Finally able to play yesterday, and it worked! Thank you all for your help, including Cupcake and Noldric!!

Now I’m just sad, due to next step. My heart broke. Excellent work on story, Devs. ONWARD! :heart:
