So, you are telling that aimbot is not exist? LOL really. According to this thread, every other musket players are noob who cannot make headshot with their every hits; but the players who makes every shot as a headshot are pro-fps shooter players from other shooter multiplayers games???

Let me remind you this first. New World is not a FPS multiplayer games like Battlefield 1-5, Call of Duty, Valorant, PUBG where their developers provide really good servers with no server lags with every less in game latency and their games are better optimized than New World and their games can handle 64 player fights really well. However, even at these shooter multiplayer games I mentioned above, aimbot is exist. Thus, this aimbot exist is in New World too whether you admit or not admit that you cannot make every of your shoots as a headshot and the aim icon of musket is not so accurate which if you ever played a musket you should know it that which it leads you to miss some shoots. In the meantime, archers are doing better than musket; because the size of arrows are increased a lot, so even archer aim system similar to musket aim while aiming; because the size of arrow is very big and so it hardly miss even a new player using it, but still to hit an enemy as headshot supposed to be more harder than musket and it is not a case anymore, thanks to aimbot cheats…

New World AGS even cannot detect BOTS, Macro Users, Gold Buyers, Gold Sellers, Hackers, Bug Exploiters. Just write “New World Aimbot or New World Hacks” on youtube and google and there are many proofs, this is one of it: UNDETECTED Aimbot … !!! … , if this game named New World so perfect without any problems (hacks, cheaters, dupes, exploits, macro users, gold sellers, gold buyers), why everyone complains and show what is happening with real proofs in the forums, youtube etc???

Yes, some players with high in Copium came here to talk about trying to justify themself with this kind of non-sense thread to prove about there is no aimbot in this game. There are both aimbot cheaters, and even BOTS and all kind of cheaters and illegal players in this game. If you deny this true facts then you are a cheater yourself. And it doesn’t mean you will be a good musket player just because you are good at another shooting game. I explained the all reasons above about you cannot make every of your shots in a fast manner as headshots in this game, and if you do it then you are a cheater which majority of cheaters I saw in every OPR as musket, they make +12k, +15k, +20k points which it means thy do more damage than any other class…

Musket is the most less wanted class for dungeons, and even at mass pvp +100 players or 40 players fights in open world. In reality, other classes can catch musket easily and kill them every easily. If you give your points to CONS in musket your damage drops a lot. Even with 300 dex and 150 int and when you use stat food and weapon damage buff, and then you have like +1768 musket damage. Most of the current 625 gear score players are very defensive and so even the headshot damages are no dropping your opponents’ HP anymore, and if thy have a healer too, just run…

Musket is only good at killing lower gear score players than them, and glass cannon light armor players. Even all of these odds, if your opponent start to kite and use health position, and if they have necklace passive that remove burn effect while wearing light armor etc effects, how do you think musket can destroy their opponents whom are 625 gear score BIS items with best perks.

Without using aimbot, you cannot shot every of your opponents with headshot, and if you cannot make your every shoots as headshots and kill everyone on your way, you cannot make +12k, +15k, +20k points in OPR… However, in Dry Tree at EU Region, there are tons of aimbot cheaters like that, same for other servers too…

I play as a musket and I have 2000 hours and still I miss time to time, and my hits are not headshot and these headshots are not enough to take down a good 625 BIS geared player too; because of high latency, server lags, fps drops, and when players kiting randomly. I generally make 6k-7k points in OPR if our team is the winning side with pre-made groups. And if you are on the losing side with random less geared new or returning players, you even cannot do that much points and the opposing team camp you on the entrance.

AGS CANNTO DETECT ANY CHEATS, HACKS ETC that these illegal players are using, SO AGS CANNOT CATCH and BAN THESE CHEATERS…

Tbf their are plenty of cheaters in this game. To say otherwise is the actual cope. Compare actually pro fps that played this game to others. Plus you think Amazon is actually keeping up on an anti cheat with all the other bugs in the game? Even games that have their priorities straight the anti cheat is always last on the list due to it being costly and resource heavy. I doubt a single member of the time is assigned to combating cheaters

I honestly have a great musket set, and the super cool-looking steampunk musket skin.

I don’t use either, because I’ve been playing online shooters since QWTF and know I’ll get mass reported like all the other semi-decent musket players.

The musket is not op in any way, but it’s compatibility with rapier, the animation cancels one can pull off on it, it being hitscan, and as you said the game mode is already meant for muskets to do well + certain broken perks just makes it extremely and easily abusable.

+Cheats do exist and there are definitely some people who will risk their account and pay that money.

lmao, get off your high horse and get over yourself. While you’re right that the aimbot accusation are absurd, you sure as hell not any better dismissing people’s issue as a coping problem and skill issue, especially with range became a huge part of the meta, and how it cause huge grievances by the majority of the player.

Players being bad is, quite frankly, is irrelevant. What IS relevant is that people clearly has issues with the weapon, people feel like the weapon is unfair, hence why people think there’s aim botting involved. Regardless if it’s true or not, the stigma is there, and it needs to be addressed. Not deem someone bad because he’s not running thrust resist gem, and physical range resist perks, while running around like a drunken fool trying to avoid getting shot.

I’ll be frank, this post just screams projection to me, and it feels like you only made this post to validate your skills as a musket user. I don’t care about your skills, personality. I just want to see more projectile hate in this game, because it’s sorely lacking.

And when I mean projectile hate, I meant seeing skills that blocks projectile, reflect it back to the user, absorb it, shit like that. Counter play.

This is such a strange argument.

To draw a parallel, PED usage in MMA is a thing but its heavily monitored. Some fighters are almost definitely natural, however you would never have one of these natty fighters come out and blame the fans of falsely accusing other fighters of PED usage. If anything those natty fighters are the first on the soapbox, because they’re the ones getting their eyes kicked out by roid monsters.

To me, there can only be two reasons to post this:

  1. “Please don’t nerf muskets I deserve all the kills because I’m so skilled.” This doesn’t apply because they mention how busted muskets are.

  2. I’m cheating so I need to throw off the scent.

MMO players truly are the weirdest gamers.

the way he says it is cringe but my guy speaking facts. musket doesnt fit the game at all and the way it is implemented def is way too overtuned. id love to see it gone completly but it needs a full rework at the very least. this guy totally nails it. its just way too easy to dominate with it.

Musket needs to go bye bye. It’s always either going to be too powerful or too weak. Hitscan is not going to be balancable in this kind of game. Worse yet is introducing seemingly cool perks only to forget about ranged weapons.

If you want good pvp it has to be about skill. Not gear, not the latest bug, not bad design. Pure skill. Take two players and give them the exact same gear and let them have a go.

This is what made good pvp games for decades. Have loadouts of some sort with pros and cons, but don’t let someone win just because… Every encounter should be a challenge.

Only takes a couple people to light that fire. I don’t care who you are…you’re not head shotting emerald light armors at max distance unfailingly while sitting in a purple puddle behind a bush and running vorpal without seeming sus

The easiest nerf for the musket would be to make it so it couldnt crit unless you got a headshot and make the crit damage higher to compensate. Bodyshot builds are still able to 2 shot light armors and its so broken. But realistically barely any people at all cheat in this game.

Just remove headshot benefit from the weapon, it’s mainly for aimbots, replace with slow, root, paralysis, silence or bleed.

Dude in BDO made a youtube video of him bragging about spending over $150,000 USDs to get gear at the time. Only just to get banned two weeks later for using RMT services. He then bragged about buying a 2nd account and only spending at the time $80,000 USDs to bypass his banned account which he spent over $150,000 USDs.

Moral of the story is, that people who are desperate for any type of win in their life. Will go to the extremes to get it. 3k hours is a small price to pay in New World for some people. More so when they are just going to turn around and buy an already maxed geared account from an RMT sites for like $2,000 USDs. And be guaranteed to have it for at least 3 months or their money back in credits on their site to buy other RMT services.

Let me ask a question, do you not think there are cheaters/aimbotters? I already know your answer because we all know AGS isn’t keeping up with anticheat obviously. They need to take away hitscan and this problem would be more manageable.

I would hate that so much more as someone who isn’t a musket player I dont think this would alleviate issues caused by aimbots, wouldnt they just repeatedly headshot stagger you? it seems way worse than a crit

They just need better detection and AGS/EAC need to get their hands on the hack/subscribe themselves so that when it’s updated they know exactly what to look for and BAN HAMMER all of those Accounts and IP address permanently. Cheating/speedhacks/aimbots are unacceptable for fair play. It’s getting better and there are in game GM’s roaming around although you will not see them they are there watching you.
