Raids I can see that happening where you need certain “things” to get there, but for a 5 man group? I just feel it’s a bit too much.
do you really want to grind dungeons? each mob gives very very very little xp or gold or anything desirable
For a lot of people it’s fun & challenging PVE content, that requires somewhat of a party coordination. No other content provides this as of now.
Portals & elite zones can be zerged just by throwing more bodies on it. It’s braindead content.
Agreed, tuning orbs should only increase the rarity chance of drops, as at the moment you run an elite with a 5-10man only after organising it for 30minutes to it just become zerged and cut your drop rate by 90% dungeons are a way around this.
de eso nada, porque lo mezcla con la historia principal, las mazmorras no tienen que tener requisitos si lo hacen asi, porque no vale la pena arriesgar tanto tiempo para eso, se ve que sos una persona poco ocupada
That… that’s not a bad idea. Even if at the very least they could do minor keys that are much easier to make but offer less resources and are limited.
As of right now to make higher keys you need stonecrafting, mining, harvesting, alchemy, and portals to compete. It is multiple people could contribute to the person with the shards, but that’s a lot of craft trades to keep track of… and I’m not sure if I’m missing any. It’s be nice for there to be a more simpler key creating option, with the understanding it lowers luck.
Making tuning orbs would be a ton better if you only had to complete a 1-2 breaches to get those particular materials. I have gotten 5 lvl 25 chests and zero corrupted slivers so i gave up. Also the things should be tradeable
eso es cierto, como ponen requisitos y después no te dan el material, el juego empieza a tener fallos muy grandes para un tipo de juego así, 7 fallas cerrados y ni una astilla de corrupción o como se llame. Eso es tomarle el pelo a la gente
No you wont - you need quite expensive components for the later orbs - eg for bying chisels.
Yeah, I think it also encourages the zero rush portal close rather than the 5-mans i think they were intended for. I could definitely see them doing a lower drop rate for large numbered parties but a higher drop rate for less people, like 5 or whatever.
they could let you expedition all day if they made the rewards the same as everything else.
But they are substantially better
Another game handles group pve with a payout pool that pays out up to x per player up to y players, if actual players getting paid is larger then the maximum y each player gets a payout of x times y divided by actual players getting paid.
Maybe if they dropped anything worth using. Depths is the only dungeon i was able to run “at level” and all i got was garbage light and medium armor. I ran the previous two at a higher level, so i didn’t get any usable gear there either, but again, what i did get was garbage light and medium. As a tank build, i need tank gear, but it just. doesn’t. drop.
the fact that they could be zerged doesnt mean they are. Most elite zones are rarely populated.
there is high level elites in reekwater ebonscale and edenwood as well that people rarely zerg.
dungeons give a lot of gold, from bosses, and all the loot salvage. they also have chests and bosses that drop high value items like crafter gear. if your dungeon run dropped 20 useless t4 items, thats 30 extra gold.
good gear is buyable in this game, so gold is the guaranteed reward, and the rest is bonus.
now perhaps, some of the orb requirements need adjusting, but in this game they generally want to tie all instanced content to open world participation.
I don’t think orbs/dungeons should be heavily tied to mass zerging, or a crazy amount of hours, but the concept itself is reasonable
Possibly. Hard to compare because the effort requirements are slightly different.
It’s certainly easier to zerg elite mobs in Myrguard with 20 people.
And still, why not make a limit or daily quests? Why grind orbs for dozens of hours?
Anyway, it seems they came to their senses and are changing it in November.
Surely depends on the server. I am on the highest pop server in my region and the zerg train won’t depart before 2 full parties are present at least.
tl;dr OP doesnt know how to play the game and has no orbs. probably thinks gold and Azoth are hard to get too. go play BDO, its the same game but requires zero effort.
to say bdo requires no effort, is to not have played bdo. Its an extremely grindy game bro
the game is only grindy post 60 and when trying to craft your BiS (if you craft it yourself). but that level of min maxing is so negligible in all content its mostly just a flex. it really doesnt help that they have an auto system for almost everything, especially if you want to spend money.
have they added a way to get a ghillie suit outside of the cash shop yet? because that annoyed the shit out of me. ghillies are OP and straight up P2W.
