Everytime i stream on Twitch, i try to connect it through the social tab. It just has a loading circle the entire time until it gives up. I know i have my accounts connected already because i accepted the twitch drop from watching other streamers. Any help on how to turn this on?
Hello and welcome to the forums @joermi13,
I am sorry to hear you’ve been having issues linking your New World account to Twitch in order to claim the drops. Here are some things we can try before creating a web ticket and which may solve the situation for you:
1- Go to “My connections” in your Twitch settings and remove New World if it is already showing there. Please do this even if you are almost sure you’ve never linked these before.
2- Once that is done please follow all the steps listed here in order:
Note that if it still does not work by the end of those steps, the scenario will require our tech team to look into your logs and follow up directly with other possibly sensitive account information that is best not posted on the forums so it would be best if you could please create a web ticket by going to Contact Us | Amazon Games.
I hope this helps and if not, do not hesitate reaching out to live support.
See you in Aeternum!
That wasn’t what they were asking about. I have the same problem and you see will reports of it elsewhere.
I have my accounts linked and can happily collect twitch drops and use them. BUT what doesn’t work is the integration from the New World client side.
Repeat by in the New World Client:
- Open the Social menu (the the o menu)
- click the Twitch tab
- Watch the purple Connect to Twitch Account button spin indefinitely.
This has nothing to do with the link you posted.
Hello @Bunnikins,
I am sorry to hear the link I provided did not suffice in your situation but please bear in mind that is not the only thing in my previous post. Please note, If you attempted the first step listed in it and the issue did not clear for you, the next step is to create a ticket with the link provided in there.
Good luck and see you in Aeternum! ![]()
