How do we find out when a team unlocks tier 2,3 and 4 on twitch? Is there a page with how the teams are progressing? I’m a twitch noob to be honest and I don’t understand how it works. Watching people play is something that’s always baffled me so, I’ve not invest much time understanding this platform or most other public media.

Pretty much just have to find any link on twitch that is streaming new world with drops enabled. I was watching BagginsTV for the first drop. Just make sure you don’t mute the twitch stream, as it won’t count if you do. There’s a list of twitch streamers here: Twitch
If we were not watching as they completed the first one do we not get it?

What’s the Desert Travelers Chest? I unlocked the skins, but not sure what the Chest is? Is that just some potions?
EDIT - nevermind, I found it.
It’s in the in-game Store menu - click the “Item Claim” button on the bottom left in the store menu.
What I find hilarious about this event are some of the smug CC they used that have not even got involved with the exact event.
I am using this to keep track of the progress. Problem is it does not update as often as it needs to.

Thanks for the links. I still find it puzzling to be honest. I wish there was an official link for each of the teams. The links you shared are a link to a wall of different videos where you can only see part of the title. None of which I’ve seen tier 2,3 or 4 drops. I’ve no idea who I clicked on to get the tier 1 stuff, my iPad was streaming as it was recharging in another room.
If you click on the images of the captains in the above link it will take you directly to their stream. From there you have to watch for 1 hour and you’ll get the first drop. All teams are still working on the second drop which you can monitor from the above link as well. They have to get 6 out of the 8 objectives to unlock the drop.
Thanks. I got the first drop when my iPad was charging, as I just clicked on a stream that said “drops!” I’ll just have to wait until a team has unlocked tier 2 and then try to find a link for that. The landing page is extremely busy and as I’m dyslexic it’s very confusing to pinpoint information from the wall of screens and half titles.

You can still get the first drop now. You didn’t have to watch while they were working on the 1st drop objectives… what I’m not sure of is, once they unlock the second drop, will the first drop then no longer be available.
Stage 2 is taking a while.
At this rate we mights see stage 3 before the event ends.
In all honesty, this event was meant to keep players watching the whole 2 weeks. It’s not about possibly obtaining many goodies.
And I hoped for a new free skin for my tower shield.
I don’t think that I’m the best person to ask, as I really don’t understand Twitch, both in design nor concept. I put it on to get rewards but haven’t watched a single minute.
Edit: Maybe I’m of the wrong generation to watch people play games.
I do not watch them. I play it and tab back to the game or other things. It counts towards your goodies.
Sometimes I will even turn it on to collect drops while doing chores.

Stage 2 is open for 2 out of the 4 teams. STage 2 is 2 hours of viewing to get the drops.
I do hope we can get to stage 4. I do want that tower shield skin, But the tent for stage 3 is nice too LOL

When you look at the drops, if it doesn’t list a channel other than Playnewworld, then no team has unlocked the drop yet and you cannot progress it.
If it has streamer names, then you can go to those streams and start progressing on the drop.
I already claimed the Studded Warrior Set last night.
