Twitch drops not working correctly

I am having issues with my Prime Drops. I claimed the eyes first and thought maybe it was just an issue with the item, but now I have also tried claiming the new crimson set and still cannot receive the items in game, even though on Twitch it shows them as claimed. Everything is connected and I have reset everything multiple times as well as contacting amazon game support and twitch support multiple times. They both referred me to a game dev to help me out.

I am sorry about the issue with twitch drops.

I believe you have already tried the following troubleshooting exactly as stated below -

  1. Close the game completely.
  2. Go to this page: Twitch Drops | New World
  3. If linked unlink Twitch and Link again: Make sure the Twitch account is linked.
    4.If linked unlink and link Steam again: Log out of Steam first, log back in and connect it to Twitch
  4. Once both are linked the third selection will show. Then click “Activate”. The player should see a message pop up saying “Success! Your Drop will be available in New World Starting…!”
  5. Log in to New World > Find an item you want to use the skin on > Click on the item > Select Skin > Choose the Skin you want.

Key points-

  • Make sure your Steam account is not linked to another Amazon or Twitch Account.
  • Make sure that it shows both accounts as “Linked” on that page above.

If yes, then please verify game files Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files and check again.

If issue persists, help me with your IGN and server, so that I can check your account.

So I was going through your list and following the steps in order. What it seems like happened is when I connected my steam account to my Twitch, the webpage crashed for whatever reason and I was not able to select the “activate” button since it crashed. I had to re-do the process 4 times, until the web page processed for me and I was able to finally get the “activate” button to work. Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you! :grin:

Hello, I’ve been having the exact same issue with just these two cosmetics… I have tried what @Helianthus suggested above, sadly it did not work for me. Amazon support forwarded me to Twitch support and Twitch couldn’t fix it.
Help, please?
