Umbral Shards from OPR should be reorganized

Think OPR shards are meant to supplement shard gain, not completely replace mutation runs. Also you only need 625 GS for mutations, no other avenue applies GS scaling. So by your logic, why would you be only farming OPR for shards if you don’t plan on doing mutations?

625 Gs is giving %10 percent more armor than 600 its not only for mutations you have no idea what you are talking about :slight_smile: And also gives more damage to the weapons also gives f +10 attribtues and also gives %1 more critical chance for each weapon and ring. I dont even believe you have a brain

OPR is not time gated, so i dont see why you should get more based off gs, its just something on top of all the other rewards

NO! I MUST BE 625 IN A WEEK!!! Otherwise, I will have to play the game more and have less time to complain on the forums about there being nothing to do. j/k

jfc. its not even important to have the full 625 in pvp.

the most important part about this whole thing is that you can get your 590s to 600s without having to burn orbs for a month. getting subpar garbabe up to get to higher mutations.

its 4 wins to get a 590 legendary to 600.

after that its like 500 hours of opr to get to 625 IF you want.

or complement that with mutations and you will be at 625 in a few weeks at worst.

Also complemented by gypsum casts.

you do also have to take into account that gypsum does scale with gear score so even if it is 250 OPR for a gear score from 624->625 those people are also getting 167 shards per gypsum cast.

it all complements. and is even better if you do a bit of everything daily. it should snowball IF you put effort into it.

ruby from opr, pentiful cheap normal expeditions x2 for sapphires, double down topazes. an emerald for cool downs or smacking rocks. thats like 2 hours of play.

5 items at like 620 will give you 400 already. 5 items at 625 is 1000 a day every day. (add 200 more to that if you only win and do min 2 oprs)

Considering this a primarily PVE game 100 shards is fine for OPR. Not too mention they are going to be adjusting the drops from OPR to be more PVP focused.

100 Shards for a Win is already a lot.
Think of this. They want you to have easy access for Mutations, since they spent a lot of time creating them (in january interview you can already see a new elemental modifier, nature instead of the existing void and fire atm)
590 > 600 Gear. 4 OPR wins, or 8 OPR Loses.
If you super-hate OPR and only do 2 matches/day for Gypsum, thats 2 Days of Gypsum, or 4 days, if you only lose.
If you like OPR, you can earn A LOT of Shards per day. OPR is spammable. Mutations are not.

Mutation 1 Gold: 40 Shards (Garden 45minutes, Dynasty super Hard and 40 min, Lazarus 35min)
Mutation 2 Gold: 60 Shards (Garden 45minutes, Dynasty super Hard and 40 min, Lazarus 35min)
Mutation 3 Gold: 80 Shards (Garden 45minutes, Dynasty super Hard and 40 min, Lazarus 35min)
Mutation 4 Gold: 120 Shards. (Garden 45minutes, Dynasty super Hard and 40 min, Lazarus 35min)

1x OPR ~ on average (on my Server, Tartarus, EU) ~ 12-18 Minutes.
OPR Rewards more shards than Mutation 3 on Gold, which takes you atleast 32-35 Minutes if you are close to being geared properly (aka Gear Score, which is all that matters in mutations)
But otherwise, you could just play 2 matches of OPR, and earn the Rewards of:

Mutation 5 Gold - 200 Shards

OPR Shard Reward is too much IMO, but i still support it, so everyone has super easy access to mutations - PUG’s will be easier, since people now have super easy access to 600+ gear for M1-5
5+ and that also means GS 613+ will be more effective to push via mutations, which is absolutely fine.

100 shards for OPR is too low. 25 victories to upgrade from 624 to 625. Pvp players don’t want to do mutations, they’re just annoying. Should be at least 3x.

Mate is better than nothing. I am loving the change. No need to rush. In few days as casual player already i stacked 40 opr chests. 70% win rate thats at least 3.2k shards. I will upgrade my 606gs which took me a lot more time doing dungeons and finding groups to fight skelletons or ai. I more feel sorry for the guys thats doing dungeons in pvp game. No need to rush. Opr,gypsum, sell the orb for mutators. You will be fine. There is people always that want more. Like i have alarm on my phone with How much money is enough money. Should be how much shards is enough shards?

I think if they made it so you could get unlimited ruby gypsum so you could buy a cast every 2 games that would be nice. If you won 2 games and had a 625 item, it would be 600 umbral for 1 hour game time opposed to 6000 for 35 mins in a level 10 dungeon.

I don’t think there will be any shards in those boxes. I think you get shards at the end of the game, like gold and azoth.

Sure. Make OPR require an orb just like mutations.

I guess OPR umbrals can be increased, Maybe even using your avg GS, but they should not award a lot of shards.

OPR is spammable and getting a gear to 625 should not be an easy task. Maybe use the same logic as gypsum casts for winning and half of that for losing, using your avg GS.
