I have a thousand hours played and have never done a single mutated dungeon. NOT ONE. 750 hours on Legacy and could never find an M1 group. It’s always M7 plus and everyone else stuck on regular dungeons for life.
So I thought a fresh start server would fix this issue. Nope, exactly the same here (Yonas). No low level mutated groups in group finder ever. The 10k shards from Brimstone was nice, I got one greatsword to 620, and a few armor sets to about 600.
Now I’m out of shards and the casts give me 200ish a day. It finally gets to the point where I’m just tired of not being able to keep up in pvp because of low gear score and running regular expeditions is pointless.
But did you even try? There’s plenty of opportunity for a noob to get those early mutation. If there’s no group, nothing prevent you from starting one, have you ever tried that?
Feels like your pissed because you are not being spoon fed with shards opportunity.
This is straight up wrong. My GS was 603 on Monday and is 616 today. This is after getting two new sagacious pieces. I have no company and none of my friends are in the shard grind. I have 4 mutations left this week and have repeated m6 5times for depths in the past 2 days.
The kicker, I play on yonas.
edit: i guess instead of just being contrarian I can offer some feedback. Last night yonas had 2 wars and 3 invasions from 7pm-10pm. That is a substantial number of people who can no longer queue for mutators. My other feedback would be to look at your weapon choices and make sure you are running the meta for each dungeon. Also that is a pitiful amount of gypsum shards, you need to diversify your gypsum activities.
every 600gs expertise slot will give you 100 shards, up to 400 for 625gs slot. You can upgrade once your slots to 625 and have 4k shards daily (for 10 casts). You can have 2 arena gypsum + 2 opr gypsum + 1 named mobs + 1 gypsum from attitude proc + 1 daily cast from diamond gypsum (during turkulon even 2) + 1 with attunement + 2 from faction shop daily. So, as solo guy you can have 10-11 casts per day for ez, means - from 1000 to 4000 shards daily.
It will take some time, indeed, every day it will goes faster and faster.

P.S. Later you can upgrade all weapons slots to 625 and have ‘5+3+all weapons * 400’ shards, in theory, if you will have so much orbs for casts daily
I like how you talk as if M10 is any kinds of complicated or hard content.
Many people just go straight from m3 into m10 skipping all the bs. So there’s obviously going to be the occasional death here and there.
People in NW seem to just be weirdly triggered about anything, be it in M10 or in regular dungeons when GS was low lol
So many lies here I’m not sure where to start… First of all, if you have a 620 item, you get 340 shards right there from one gypsum cast each day. Last I checked, 340>200. If you use those shards to upgrade another item, it would take you a few days to get that one to 620 as well. 2 items at 620 will give you 680 shards. See how the math works? That’s just using the shards from that one item. I know you get more gypsum than that per day. Most likely you are getting 3-5 gypsum orbs per day for basically logging in. If you have a 1000+ hours invested and don’t have at least one set at 625, it’s probably because you are standing around in town playing music, chatting in global/trade/faction, or farming.
Second, I’m pretty darn sure there are lower level mutations running on your server. I have 60s on Castle of Steel, Yggdrasil, Myrddin (a fresh start with a small population that’s being merged into another one), and Valhalla. Recruitment chat is always full of requests for people to join lower level mutations, even on the small pop server. Tanks, healers, and DPS. Maybe you have too many channels muted? It sounds to me like you are just wanting some attention.
I play solo and have never done a mutation, I slowly upgraded my gear so now I get more than 4000 shards every day from 10+ gypsum. It was slow at first but it got easier and easier so now I can upgrade a piece to 625 every other day or so. Every day I log in I get 4000+ umbral shards so you are doing something wrong.
Farmed expertise from doing easy chest runs every hour when I had a moment over and used gypsum only for getting shards.
