It might not be intended as a bug but it certainly is one. The error message states that you cannot join a faction that controls the MOST territory, so at the very least their error message is wrong as no faction owns the most territory in this scenario.
Secondly during server transfers exceptions should be made as nowhere in the server transfer documentation did it mention this restriction, and anyone changing servers should be exempt from this restriction as the entire point of a server transfer is to move to your friends server.
The server transfer is useless if you can’t even join a company with your friends which was the entire reason many people are changing servers. So they should modify it so upon changing servers your either exempt for 24 hours from the restriction or wipe your faction completely and let you re-select it.
Yeah but that is funamentally wrong. Two factions both cannot control the MOST. They control equal territory. I mean theoretically every faction could hold 4 territories meaning NO ONE could ever change factions on a server, so its fundamentally flawed and at the very least they should update the wording.
It also doesn’t negate the other points in that the limitation wasn’t mentioned in the server transfer FAQ, nor does it negate that it should be waived immediately upon server transfer so friends can group up and join their companies which is the entire point of the server transfer.
Ok, maybe that literally, they don’t control the MOST of territories. But in the game, you simply can’t join a faction which is number 1 on the number of controlled territories, and ties still count.
My advice is to try hard to help your current faction capturing a territory, and once it’s done, you can join your friends.
Still leaving this here hoping an amazon rep can manually change or reset my faction to blank so I can actually join my friend and suggest that they update the server transfer FAQ with this information as its a massive gaping hole to not mention.
I could have changed my faction BEFORE changing servers if this was communicated anywhere in the documentation, and since this is an option there is no reason why they cannot allow a faction change say within 24 hours of changing server.
Same problem on my Server with a 5:5:1 Ratio.
Both strongest partys keep it like that. they are working together in the background. same with upgrading workstations.
Either get rid completely of every transfer restrictions, or give us the oportunity to join a PvE faction so those cheaters won’t get tax money from us anymore.
This has actually become game breaking for me as i cannot faction change to be able to play with my friends. If this cannot be resolved, then I might have to ask for a refund.
Looks like a weird stale mate or a classic 2v1. How is the system not into three tiers? The alpha faction only has one other faction fighting against it while the third faction is nonexistent. I want to move from the nonexistent faction to the one who has players fighting against the alpha. Simple as that.
