Unable to complete "Destiny Unearthed" quest

• What server/world did you experience your issue on: EU Central/Barri
• Describe the issue you are experiencing: The quest requires me to deliver an heartgem to Yonas Alazar. I have the gem in my inventory, but i cannot finish the quest. I restarted the game, verified the game files. I also tried resetting the quest, but i just get completed again because i have the gem. I chose the option to get the gem solo instead of doing the dungeon. I did the dungeon to see if i would get another gem.
• Is this a bug? Yes
• (if a bug) How did the issue affect your gameplay: I cannot progress the questline
• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No

Ok folks update time. After numerous head scratching and almost fixed I finally was able to complete the quest. I had to go into Amrine with a group and i basically reset the quest in my journal before every boss fight and 3 times during the last boss fight. Once we killed the boss I was able to harvest a new heartgem and Yonas was outside the expedition waiting!!!1

I did a reset on the quest inside the expedition multiple times to be sure. And it worked!
