Describe the issue you are experiencing: This is an issue a number of my Company are facing. We first transferred to Zugen a month ago from Omayocan. On Omayocan we were Syndicate and had completed all the missions. We switched to Marauders and transferred to Zugen to play with more friends. Now on Zugen we have switched back to Syndicate. The people that were previously Syndicate and finished the quest line cannot obtain the quest from the Quest giver in Brightwood. The quest reads: Travel to Brightwood and complete the Trial of the Scrivener. The NPC (Xiaoling Biyu) shows a quest icon from the Map [M], but not one the NPC himself and there is no option outside of the store or OPR from him,
This has locked our Faction point progress at 7500 points, and we cannot level up to buy Chisels to run Genesis and Laz expeditions. This is a HUGE inconvenience for about 10+ people at this point, and i assume may be an issue others have not noticed due to the holiday.

It’s because question progression is single-sided one way and not designed to be repeatable.
SO… they forgot that if you change factions, your other factions get reset and so you need to repeat them to re-advance if you swap back to a faction you had previously advanced.
But they forgot and apparently didn’t build in the proper mechanism to allow you to get back to where you need to be to play end game expeditions because without the highest tier faction, where do you get asmodeum chisels?
Ooops. So, let’s just hope they fix this and the 1000(?) or more (?) other bugs they really need to fix in this game.
spoke with a chat rep through amazon and they let me know its been brought tot he attention of the Devs… just another thing they gotta fix now. this one really hurts me tho… no chisels = no orbs for gen/laz…
Yes, they have been saying this. This has been an issue for quite a long time and it won’t get fixed until half the player base has switched factions and is stuck.
HELLO AGS??? WAKE UP. How long are you going fk over everyone who has swapped factions back to a faction they were previously on.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I was Syndicate, then I changed to Cov than transfered back to Syndicate and got stuck. Reset, relog and reinstall didnt help! Game bug!!!
Still nothing about this anywhere after a months time… come on amazon give us any indication. This has set me back from being able to make bags… make orbs to get in expeditions… you know … progress in your game. You are about to drop mutations and still have no resolve for this issue. wtf wtf wtf
