I did a few very, very long quest chains in Great Cleave and Edengrove. Each quest gave the materials to craft a piece of armor. It was 48 quests in total, I believe, a 4 step quest for each item, 12 items. While these pieces of armor were nice when I got them, I outleveled them and eventually destroyed them.
Then, some 10 levels later I get a new quest, to improve these armor sets. So I did this quest to and was rewarded with a bunch of items I could use to craft improved armor sets. The armor sets I am talking about are the Battle’s Embrace (heavy), Shrouded Intent (medium) and Protective Wyrd (light). However to craft these improved armors, you need the items you get from the quest plus the old armors, which has long been destroyed…
So since I destroyed these mid level armor parts, it seems I cannot complete the craft quest to make the improved epic armor sets, which is a major dissapointment both in terms of gear upgrades for my character, but also, more importantly it prevents me from completing this part of the game 
wouldnt mind grinding the gear again just let me finish the quest lol
