Unable to fish because cast button is blacked out

I seem to have a bug that i cannot get past and prevents me from doing the current event.

Before the patch i noticed the cast open was blacked out when i use F3 to fish. Prevents me from fishing but wasnt an issue until it was needed for the event.

I have tried various locations, several fishing rods but none will work.

First, for this issue I want to confirm with you etomiha if you already applied the troubleshooting related with the AGS Files that are linked within New World:

1. Windows + R type in %APPDATA%
2. Go to Local and Roaming (Both files will include an AGS file) and open them.
3. Rename the AGS sub-folder ‘‘New World’’ to something different like ‘’_New World"
4. This will refresh the cache files within New World.
5. Re-launch New World.

If the problem persist after this troubleshooting, Due to the nature of this issue; I’d suggest you to please help us escalate this behavior of New World to the developer’s team contacting Amazon Games Customer Support using the link below so they can help you with your request including your logs; Keep handy the following information:

• Character Name.
• Region.
• World / Server.
• Computer Specifications.
• Logs.
• The previous troubleshooting we already made.

Here you are the steps to get this information just in case you need it:

• To find the DxDiag:

Press Windows + R, type “dxdiag” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
Click the Display tab and you can see information about your video card under the Device section. Please write down that information.

• To find the logs:
• Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
• Click on dxdiag.exe.
• When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

You need to rebind it to something else.

Another common issue i’m seeing after the patch is anyone running Aeterneium Overwofl Minimap has conlficts with the apps binds and the game binds. The overwolf app is consuming the keypresses preventing the ingame keybind from working. Both of these may be your issue.

If after you applied the troubleshooting the problem persists, please disable any third app binding the F3 function for fishing.
