I’m in US East as well, maybe a US East issue again?
I did it 5 times and now i will just sit back and wait.

On Reddit they are saying US West also
Castle of Steel is not under maintenance but I am having the same issue, can you please confirm if this is affecting all of US East?

I checked Server Status | New World before logging in and it showed Calnogor as up, not under maintenance.

Eden is not in maintenance at this time (Shows Green). Could it be something else?

There’s another AWS outage (Amazon Web Services, not AGS), login and play will likely be affected until it’s resolved.

AWS having Problems inside a Datacenter (powerloss), out of hand from NW-Devs.
Keep checking their AWS Health site for more info&staying upto date.

I understand, everyone is right it’s just some servers that are under maintenance. I recommend that you also be patient because as some players are commenting, some AWS servers are not fully functioning and this also affects us. Thank you all very much for your patience and understanding.

same issue but only Castel of Steel here.
was able to get on another us east and us west server
EDIT and now it let me in 08:22
Services should be going up soon-ish again since they restored power to the Data Center.
Experiencing this same issue still. Technical support seems to be unaware.
