Unable to play on Cretea but able to on another server

I am unable to login to play my level 60 character in Cretea
I get a connection error - has been happening for 3 days.

I AM able to login to Ryugu-Jo server and play my level 9 character.

I’ve verified the integrity of Steam files

Error messages:

Connection Error
Unexpectedly disconnected from the server
Retrying

Lumberyard Error
[SafePtr] - Attempting to dereference a null ptr

I am really sorry to know that you are unable to login to the Cretea server.

Could you please try the below steps:

To toggle the IPV6:

  1. From the Start/Windows Menu, select Settings.
  2. Select Network and Internet.
  3. In the Status section, under Change your network settings, select Change adapter options.
  4. When the Network Connections window opens, right-click your network connection.
  5. Select Properties.
  6. Scroll to Internet Protocol version
  7. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) box.
  8. Select OK to save your changes for the selected network adapter.
  9. A PC restart may be necessary. Try launching the game again.

These steps have not worked for multiple players, why are you suggesting it even after being told that in other forum posts? 4 of the AP Southeast servers are currently experiencing issues on a big scale, can you please offer some advice that isn’t this? We’re begging you to bump this to the devs, live chat isn’t offering anything different to this (Which doesn’t work)

Be sure to have your game logs ready in case they ask for them:

Provide the latest 3 logs from: Users\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\LogBackups

DxDiag report https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/open-and-run-dxdiag-exe-dad7792c-2ad5-f6cd-5a37-bf92228dfd85:

  1. Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  2. Click on dxdiag.exe.
  3. When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

Multiple players have already attempted this and it hasn’t worked, I am not personally having issues but after speaking with about 75% of my servers players being unable to login or taking up to 2 hours logging in.

Another example of my server being unable to login to play. This needs to be addressed urgently.

How do I escalate this “connection error” issue, I’ve tried speaking to the Support team on AG but all I get is near enough to singular automated replies (most of which repeat the unhelpful instructions over and over) and not listening to the problem at hand, also none of which seem to have acknowledged this is effecting the whole ‘AP South East’ server and all the worlds off it.

In another forum posts Kelthuzad said the issue was bumped up, it’s unfortunately a matter of waiting, however I am still getting people to post in that forum so devs have lots of reports to look over

Yeah I saw that post :slight_smile: But I mentioned something prior to that one about 48hrs ago now, and nothing of which appeared to be getting action.

I want a REGION TRANSFER TOKEN NOW! Get me off this grossly inaccessible region!

QUIT telling people to fix on their end!!! Its your game and your crap servers…admit it and suck it up and fix it.

Have you tried get back into Cretea now? It seems that the problem that was hindering some people joining the game has now been fixed (at least for some, there are some glitches mind you, for example chat is acting weird)
