I did the mission on my main account and i was able to progress because I did not rest at a camp there beforehand

Hope you are doing great and apologize about this inconvenience In order to help here I suggest to move your character around the area until you are able to set a new camp and try again as a second option try to re do the quest.

Following of that please run files verification fo the game on steam and restart the pc
