Unable to sell/store crafted storage chests

• Describe the issue you are experiencing: Unable to sell/post storage chests on trading post, or store them in storage shed.

• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I spend money making chests to sell them. Now I can’t sell them, and I can’t store them. So they are now just stuck in my inventory holding my gold hostage.

• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:

1. Go to trading post.
2. Go to “Sell” and “My sellable items”.
3. Try to find storage chest either by filtering by furniture, or not filtering at all. Unable to find storage chests on either list.
4. Check that storage chests are in inventory (Yes, 2x Hope storage chest and 1x Iron storage chest)
5. Try to put storage chests into storage shed. Get an error on screen saying “Cannot drop mission items”.

I also have a chest already laying in my storage shed that I can’t sell either. However upon mouse-overing chest that’s already in storage, I have the option to “Take”. On the chests in my inventory I can only “Salvage” or “Link to Chat” when I mouseover.

Update: Looted furniture also gives me the “Cannot drop mission items”. when I attempt to put them in storage shed.

These are in the patch notes. They turned them off to combat duping bug recently. You cannot move or trade any furniture items. See the most recent patch notes for more

thought this was because the dupe bug as well but currently on my server Ker-is there is like 20 hewn log storage chests on trading post abut no iron storage chests… maybe they are from older listings? i just made some iron chests for a company member but cant do anything with them.

One thing you can do, if you own a house, is you can place the chest in your house, then pick it up. It wont put it in your inventory, but town storage.

This is conditional on you having space to put the chest down in the first place - or being able to pick up a different chest without your town storage being over-encumbered.
